We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (TS)

Keefe was the first to move away. I hardly registered what was going on around me; all I could feel was pure panic coursing through my veins. Keefe was looking at me, waiting for me to say something. I could not even move a muscle.

Keefe took a big inhale of breath before turning towards the door, "Hey Fitz, buddy, what's up? Thanks for saving us by the way, Foster here was panicking beyond normal Foster panic and I was forced upon-"

"Shut up." Fitz had a scary calmness around his words that I had never really witnessed before. His fists were clenched tight along with his jaw, and his eyes were a startling bold teal against his paling face. His words anyhow were calm. The calm before the storm most likely.

I did not like the way he was looking at Keefe. I had to say something, I would not let Keefe take all the blame and hate.

"Fitz, nothing was happening. Keefe was just helping me calm down is all. I would never betray you in that way, I swear."

My voice came out uneven and strained.

Fitz did not even glance my way. "You were hugging my girlfriend. You were touching my property."

I flinched at his words. Property. He made it seem like I was some sort of item you buy at the store. Like some toy you play with ad throw away within a few weeks. Something worthless.

I had enough.

I walked right up to his pretentious face and slapped my hand across it so hard it made a sound familiar to the cracking of thunder.

It immediately started to burn red, and the small imprint of my fingers showed distinctly. That was going to bruise. I was quite proud.

"I'm done playing your games, and I'm done with you treating me like some worthless toy. I'm a real human being with a real soul if you didn't know. You can find someone else to be your pretty shadow because we're through. I never want to talk to you again."

His eyes flashed and he caught my wrist before I could walk away.

"This is because of him, isn't it? I was never good enough for you. No, no. Our sweet, little, innocent Sophie had to shoot higher. I wasn't popular enough, huh? But Keefe, oh he's simply perfect for you. Well, have fun Keefe. Won't take her long to realize popularity changes as quickly as the seasons, she'll be crawling back to me in no time. Just you both wait." 

OMG. It's been SO LONG and I apologize. I'm a senior now and school is crAzY! Summer was even crazier... ahhh! But.. I'm slowly but surely working on several smaller chapters (or more like short scenes... this wasnt very long at all im sorrryy forgive me!) , so hopefully I can update more often!

Thanks for sticking with me, lovelies! Have a great year! Also... only a few more months until Stellerlune! I might be too old for this series now... but... yknow what I may as well stick with it until the end loll!
