Sixteen

Emmett walked into the living room to find Braxton and Seraphina in a deep conversation. "I don't want to go back. I like it just being us and this little one."

"Me too." He says wrapping his arms around her. "Yes, I'll miss them, but I have to think about you and this baby. We are a family now and one day, I know we will discuss our wedding."

"Just not rushing into that."

Braxton kissed her head. "I heard you and Rosalie. I like the way we are going with our life. Things are falling into place."

Serphina smiled as she kissed him. Emmett smiled as he saw his mate. They knew Seraphina and Braxton wasn't rushing things. The slow pace is helping them plan things the way they want it.

Later that day, Braxton walked with Seraphina as they wanted some time to theirselves. "What else is missing from the baby's room?" Braxton asked.

"The baby?"

"Ha ha." Braxton says causing Seraphina to laugh. "That's a good one, but I think we need to see what else we are missing."

Seraphina had been thinking about that all day, but she couldn't really put her finger on what's missing because Rosalie is trying her best to talk her into marrying Braxton, but they are not in no hurry. Yes, they want to get married, but they just want to keep things slow. Maybe give it time for their child to walk the isle. "I think I know when we should get married."

"When?"

"When the baby is born." She tells him. "He or she will witness the love we have for one another."

"I like that."

Seraphina smiled as she kissed him. Emmett and Rosalie saw the two and smiled. "Maybe them going at their own pace is a good thing." Rosalie says. "Let's not talk them into getting married now. Let it happen on it's own."

"Agree."

Sometime that day, Braxton found Seraphina sound asleep on the couch. He grabbed a blanket and covered her up. "She's been a sleep for two hours now." Emmett says. "Rosalie's worried."

"Why?"

"She can't keep food down." Rosalie tells him. "I called Carlisle and he say he will be here in a few days to see what is going on. He wants to know if you plan on turning Seraphina if she dies."

Braxton nodded. "We've talked about this before. I can't live without her and she has a family that loves her. That was all we said. She will turn if she comes close to death." He said. "I'm going to get some animal blood and see if that helps her."

Rosalie nodded as Braxton left. Emmett looked at his wife causing her to smile and nod. "Thank you, babe." He says running off causing
Rosalie to sit in the chair as she turned the tv on.

It was her and her pregnant friend.
