Thirteen

"Braxton, I think you should leave Seraphina behind to keep her safe." Was the first thing Edward said. "We all have to leave to protect them."

Braxton turned growling as Emmett held him back. "I will be damned if you tell me to leave my pregnant mate behind." He said gaining everyone's attention at the news.

"How?"

"I don't know, but Seraphina is doing research." Braxton says. "I'm not leaving her behind and that's final."

Seraphina walked downstairs just for Braxton to go to her. "What's wrong?" She asked him as he walked her upstairs.

The sound of the faintest of heartbeats caught their attention and knew Braxton wasn't lying. Hearing Seraphina tell Braxton that it was okay and that he wasn't leaving her behind like Edward wanted made them smile. Seraphina kissed him as he held her. "I want us to get married." He tells her. "I love you and I want you to be my wife."

Seraphina gasped as he showed her the ring. "Braxton, you didn't have to get me a ring to marry you. You don't even have to spend money on me. All I need is you and this little one." She tells him. "I love you, Braxton Cullen and I will marry you whenever you want."

Braxton smiled as he kissed her. He had all he needed right here in his arms.

Everyone had their things packed. Seraphina was hugging Carlisle and Esme as she was leaving again, but they weren't too far from one another. Braxton smiled as him and Emmett hugged one another. "Take care of her." Rosalie tells him. "I don't want anything happening to her or that little miracle."

"She'll be safe." Braxton tells her. "I promise, aunt Rosalie."

Rosalie nodded as she walked over to Seraphina as she was talking to Alice. "Don't make it big." She says. "I just want a wedding with my loved ones there. That's all I want."

"I promise."

"Jasper..."

"I'll make sure of it." He tells her. "See you soon, shortie."

Seraphina stuck her tongue out as Alice and Jasper drove off. She looked at Rosalie and cried as she didn't want to leave. Rosalie hugged her as she didn't want to leave her best friend. "I want you to write everything down about this pregnancy. Your cravings, how much you weigh and pictures of your bump. I want to feel like I'm there."

"Okay."

Braxton walked over to Seraphina as everyone drove off. Edward had left to wait for Bella causing it to be just them. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah." She tells him as she looked at him. "I'm ready."

Braxton nodded as they got in their car. The two looked back at the house one last time as they drove off. As the houses went by, Seraphina started to think of the day the Cullens came to town. She never given them much attention, but Braxton aways watched her. The memories they built together in this small town would be there forever as they start new memories somewhere else. Seraphina grabbed Braxton's hand as she had him with her and their miracle.
