.
The Balcony and the MoonJungkook stood on the balcony, her slender frame illuminated by the moonlight. The stars above sparkled, but it was the moon that seemed to captivate her. She stared at it with tear-filled eyes, her lips trembling as she let her emotions flow.
Jungkook (whispering):
"How beautiful you look tonight, moon, glowing in the darkness like a beacon of hope. But you see my life, don't you? Don't you think it's a complete mess?"She chuckled bitterly, her voice breaking as tears streamed down her face.
Jungkook:
"The person who ruined my life, who turned my dreams into ashes, stands just a few feet away from me, yet I can't bring myself to hate him. Why, moon? Why can't I hate him? Why does my heart refuse to accept anyone else? Why does my love have to remain incomplete? Why can't I just let go?"Her voice cracked, and she broke down, clutching the balcony railing for support.
Jungkook (sobbing):
"Just once... Just once, I want him to hold me like he holds her. Just once, I want to feel loved like he loves her. Just once, I want to hear my name from his honeyed lips. Just once, I want something for myself. Please, God, just once-make him mine. Even if it's only for an hour, I don't care. Just make him mine."Her knees buckled, and she sank to the cold floor, her tears soaking the marble tiles.
Suddenly, a voice interrupted her thoughts.
??:
"Koo, are you out of your mind? Stop being emotional. Don't forget how he hurt you."Jungkook gasped and turned to see her reflection in the mirror. It wasn't just a reflection-it was her inner voice, staring back at her with an expression of steely resolve.
Reflection:
"Stop being a lovesick puppy, Jungkook. Don't forget why you're here. You're not here to pine for a man who never cared about you. You're here for your son, for your citizens, and most importantly, for revenge."Jungkook wiped her tears, her expression hardening as the reflection continued.
Reflection:
"How can you forget your parents' deaths? How can you forget Yoonji's tears? How can you forget your own humiliation-the disgusting touches, the insults, the betrayal? Does your love for Taehyung outweigh all of that? Don't forget, Jungkook. Han is waiting for you. Didn't you promise him that after you've secured your son's future and taken your revenge, you would return to him? So why are you asking God for Taehyung's love? Don't be greedy, Jungkook. His love was never yours. It's Mina he loves and always will."Jungkook clenched her fists, her jaw tightening as she nodded to herself.
Jungkook:
"You're right. I came here for revenge, not for love. I should focus on my goal. Love has no place in this."The reflection smirked.
Reflection:
"Good. Then the plan begins tomorrow. We reclaim the crown, Jungkook. You are a queen, and it's time to remind everyone of that-including Mina."Jungkook (nodding):
"Yes. Wait and watch, Mina. I'll ruin every one of your dreams."She wiped her tears and stood, her resolve as unyielding as steel.

The Nightmare of the Past
That night, her sleep was filled with memories she could never escape.
She dreamed of her parents, Jeon Jungmin and Jeon Jehra, their faces radiating pride and love as they watched Jungkook and her siblings play in the garden. Her father's laughter echoed in her mind, a sound she hadn't heard in years.
But the scene shifted abruptly.
The laughter turned to screams. Her parents' lifeless bodies lay on the ground, blood pooling beneath them. Her brother, barely alive, fought to hold on as his wife cried over him. Jungkook stood frozen, unable to move, her body trembling as she stared at the carnage.
Her father's final words rang in her ears, cutting through the chaos like a blade.
Jungmin:
"Jungkook, you are a queen. That means you carry the weight of the kingdom on your shoulders. A queen is like a mother to her citizens. If the king falters, it is the queen's duty to act. Never forget what I taught you: when it comes to justice, never hesitate to punish-even if the guilty are your own family. I know my daughter will never disappoint me."Jungkook had nodded through her tears, her small hand clutching her father's as his life slipped away.
Jungmin:
"Promise me, Jungkook. Never cry in front of those who humiliate you. Never let anyone see you weak. You are a lioness, and you will always be one. Promise me you will protect our kingdom and honor our alliance with the Kims. If the alliance breaks... he will come back."Through her sobs, Jungkook had promised.
Jungkook:
"I promise, Father. I'll do whatever you ask."Her father had smiled weakly, his eyes closing as he took his last breath.

Present - The Morning
Jungkook woke with a start, her body covered in sweat. The sunlight streamed through the windows, and the chirping of birds filled the room. She sat up, her breathing uneven as the remnants of her dream lingered in her mind.
She walked to the balcony, her eyes narrowing as she saw the soldiers training in the courtyard below.
Jungkook:
"It's been too long since I've held a sword. Let's see if I've still got it."She went to the washroom and found the bathtub already prepared, the water steaming and filled with fragrant oils. She sighed, knowing who was behind the gesture.
Jungkook (to herself):
"What does he think he's doing? If he thinks I'll melt for these pathetic attempts, he's wrong."She discarded her clothes and stepped into the bath, letting the warm water soothe her tense muscles.
Outside her door, Taehyung leaned against the wall, a small smile playing on his lips as he listened to her movements.
Taehyung (to himself):
"I'll earn your forgiveness, Jungkook. No promises, no barriers-nothing will stop me from getting back what's mine. You are my queen, and I'll make you believe in us again."From the shadows, Mina watched, her fists clenched in fury.
Mina (to herself):
"Let's see how you keep your promise, my king. I'll make sure you and Jungkook never reunite. Even if I have to kill one of you, I don't care."---
Taegguk's POV
Taegguk stood by the window in his room, his little hands gripping the windowsill as he stared out.
Taegguk (to himself):
"I won't let anyone come between my parents. Not Mina, not anyone. I'll bring them back together, no matter what."The boy's eyes, though innocent, shone with determination beyond his years.
