The golden rays of the setting sun bathed the sprawling Kim Kingdom in a warm glow, but Jungkook hardly noticed. As the royal carriage pulled into the grand palace gates, memories flooded his mind. He glanced at the familiar surroundings, the towering spires, and the gardens that once held so much joy for him. His heart ached as emotions surged—love, pain, regret, and anticipation. Wiping away a stray tear, Jungkook composed himself as the carriage stopped.

Jungkook (to himself): I promised myself I’d be strong. For him… for us.

The door opened, and Jungkook stepped out, the breeze gently ruffling his raven-black hair. His eyes immediately found Taehyung, standing at the entrance. The years had done little to dim his love for the man before him, though Taehyung looked different—worn by time and responsibility. Jungkook’s heart raced as he longed to run to him, to embrace him, to claim back the years they had lost. But that urge quickly dissipated as his gaze shifted, and he noticed Mina standing beside Taehyung, her hand resting possessively on his arm.

Jungkook’s jaw clenched. He exhaled slowly, schooling his features into a neutral expression.

Jungkook (whispering to himself): Not now. Not here.

Before he could take a step forward, he was suddenly enveloped in a crushing hug. The familiar scent and warmth made Jungkook smile even as he felt his shoulder grow damp. Yoongi—his Kitty hyung—was holding him tightly, crying silent tears. Jungkook immediately hugged him back, his voice soft and teasing.

Jungkook (smiling): “Kitty hyung, stop crying. You’re ruining your cold and aloof image.”

Yoongi (voice trembling): “I don’t care, Jungkook. I don’t care. You’re here.”

Seeing this emotional reunion, Zhan’s eyes began to well up as well he rested a hand on his growing baby bump, his heart swelling with love and nostalgia.

Zhan (sniffling): “You two stop it! My pregnancy hormones are making me emotional just watching this.”

Jimin (chiming in with a grin): “Same here, hyung! You’re making me cry, too!”

A soft voice interrupted their banter. Yibo, regal and composed, stood nearby, holding their three-year-old son, Yizhan. The boy’s round cheeks and wide eyes made him look like a cherub. Yibo’s sharp tone carried a hint of amusement.

Yibo: “Yoongi hyung, I believe you’re hugging my son's wife a little too tightly.”

The group turned to see Yizhan squirming in his father’s arms, his small hand pointing at Yoongi.

Yizhan (pouting): “Leave ma wifey, Kitty!”

The words were so unexpected that Jungkook and Yibo burst into laughter, and Zhan groaned in embarrassment.

Zhan (facepalming): “Yizhan, sweetheart, that’s your uncle Yoongi. And this is Jimin, your wifey’s best friend and stop calling jungkook your wifey "

Yizhan (beaming): “Hewwo, everyone!”

Jimin (cooing): “Oh my gosh! He’s so cute! Omma, look at him!”

Hearing Jimin’s praise, Yizhan’s little ears turned red as he fidgeted shyly.

Yizhan (shyly): “You’re pwetty, Mochi.”

Jimin (gasping): “Mochi?! Did you just nickname me Mochi?”

Zhan (chuckling): “Don’t mind him. He gives everyone nicknames.”

Yibo (grinning): “That’s true. He calls Zhan ‘Bunny Mumma,’ Jungkook ‘Bunny,’ or sometimes ‘Wifey.’”

Jimin (giggling): “Oh really? Then I’ll call you ‘Lil Bunny.’”
