The Coronation and Rise of Queen Jungkook

The grand halls of the royal palace were adorned with the finest draperies, banners of deep crimson and gold cascading from the ceilings. The air was thick with the scent of fresh roses, symbolizing prosperity and rebirth. Citizens from all over the kingdom had gathered in the vast throne room, their eyes filled with anticipation. The royal family stood at the front, their expressions unreadable, while the ministers observed with a mixture of curiosity, pride, and resentment.

At the center of it all stood Jungkook, the rightful queen. Dressed in an intricately embroidered royal robe, she exuded an aura of elegance and power. A crown of pure gold encrusted with sapphires and rubies rested on a velvet cushion, waiting to be placed upon her head.

The royal priest stepped forward, holding an ancient scroll containing the vows of the monarchy.

Royal Priest: “Kim Jungkook, do you swear upon your soul and crown to rule this kingdom with wisdom, fairness, and strength, protecting its people and upholding the laws of our ancestors?”

Jungkook lifted her chin, her voice steady and unwavering.

Jungkook: “I swear.”

The priest nodded and carefully placed the crown on her head. The moment the crown touched her hair, a roar of approval erupted from the gathered citizens. Drums rolled, trumpets blared, and petals rained down from the balcony above.

Taehyung, now sitting on his throne beside her, could feel the rush of power returning to him. With Jungkook beside him, he felt invincible—just like before.

Dissent Among the Ministers

Among the ministers, however, not everyone was pleased. One man, his face darkened with disappointment, pushed his way toward the king.

Minister Ruhan (Mina’s father): “Your Majesty, may I have a word?”

His tone was laced with arrogance, his displeasure clear in his posture.

Taehyung, recognizing him, was about to rise and bow in respect. But before he could, Jungkook firmly grabbed his arm, pulling him back onto his throne. She leaned in, whispering near his ear.

Jungkook (softly): “Did you forget the rule, my king?”

A shiver ran down Taehyung’s spine. Jungkook’s voice was intoxicating, commanding yet gentle, reminding him exactly who held the power in the room.

The minister’s eyes flashed with anger.

Minister Ruhan: “What kind of behavior is this, Jungkook? How dare you pull the king like that?”

Jungkook’s eyes gleamed with amusement.

Jungkook: “First of all, have you forgotten the rules set by the former queen? And secondly, it’s Queen Jungkook to you.”

The minister huffed, still addressing Taehyung.

Minister Ruhan: “Your Majesty, my daughter Mina is your wife—”

Jungkook (cutting him off): “Second wife.”

The correction was sharp, deliberate. The minister’s jaw clenched in irritation.

Minister Ruhan: “Mina would have been the perfect queen.”

Jungkook scoffed, her lips curving into a smirk.

Jungkook: “Perfect? She’s perfect for one thing—homewrecking.”

Gasps rippled through the room. The minister’s face turned red with anger.
