KIMCHAY BIT

It's starting to rain and Porché loves the rain. He stares at the window of his shared room with Kim, not knowing the other man had been staring at him.

Kim looks at the posters the younger guy immediately stuck to his side of the room. It was of a singer whose name was Jeff. Apparently, Porché's idol. He claims he wants to attend his fanmeeting someday.

"Hey, kid. People tell me I look like him all the time." Kim said and Porché immediately look at him.

"Who?" The younger guy asks.

"Jeff" Kim's lips pointing towards the direction of the poster.

"Hahaha, I didn't know Khun Kim was so funny. Phi Pete said you were very serious" Porché was laughing his ass off.

"What? And what do you mean funny? It's true. People mistake me for him all the time. That guy doesn't look so bad if he looks like me. Even I agree he looks like an older version of me" Kim says in a cool manner, leaving Porché with a confused expression.

"Ai, Porché what's with your face, huh? Do you really not see the resemblance?" Kim asks again.

"Khun Kim, you can just call me Chay. When you pronounce my name I'm not sure if you're calling me or my brother since our names sound alike. Besides, you don't look like Phi Jeff at all and why do you say you look like the younger version of him? Aren't you the same age?"

"The same age? I'm only 24. He's 29!" Kim exclaims at Chay.

"What?" The younger boy's eyes widen even more, his eyes are too big. Kim comments in his mind

"I thought you were older than Khun Noo!" Chay said again and Kim's little smile completely disappears.

"Didn't anyone tell you it's rude to tell people they look old? Especially when they don't look old just like me?"

"Oh. Sorry, Khun Kim khap." Chay bowed his head.

"Now, ask me how old I think you look, Chay. I'll teach you how to answer" Chay was hesitant for a but but then he complied.

"How old does Khun Kim think I am?" He asks innocently. Chay is 18 years old.

"Hmmm, I think you are twelve?" Kim answers and asks at the same time. Chay's nostrils flared. He was always insecure about his height because his  brother and his friends are tall. Whenever he hung out with his friends, kids from school would bully him for looking short like a kid.  Kim doesn't know it but he poked on his insecurities still.

Chay stood up while glaring at Kim. Kim shifted backwards while sitting on his bed when he saw the way Chay was looking at him. "What now?" But then Chay stopped walking when he reached his own bed, the bed close to Kim's. There were two beds in their room.  He wrapped himself in a blanket and turned his back to Kim.

"It's not very polite to tell people they look like twelve year-olds too." Chay muttered

"What?"

"Nothing. I said good night, Khun Kim"

Unbeknownst to Chay, Kim slept with both corners of his mouth lifting up in a smile.

PETE's POV:

"Rise and Shine!!!" Khun Noo kept yelling throughout the house. Good thing grandma is an early riser and is now walking along the beach with the other old ladies. She's recently picked up the habit of going on morning walks with the other old ladies. It started when an old lady from the Island, Grandma Pit, died of a stroke last week. The old ladies seemed to have agreed that she died due to a lack of exercise. Anyway, I'm glad grandma is having fun while exercising. Good for her.
