Ch 36- Vanilla's Date

Tulsa, Oklahoma, August 28th, 2022

Charlie planned to take Vanilla out on a date before they started university tomorrow. Vanilla was getting ready for her date with Charlie.

About an hour later, Charlie came to pick up Vanilla for their date.

Charlie said, "Hey, Vani."

Vanilla replied, "Hey."

Charlie asked, "Are you ready to go?"

Vanilla responded, "Yeah, I am ready to go."

Charlie said, "Alright, that's good."

Vanilla and Charlie left Vanilla's house.

Charlie took Vanilla to a restaurant. A waitress came up to them, and the waitress was Blythe.

Blythe asked, "What would you like today?"

Vanilla replied, "A root beer and a mango salad, please."

Blythe wrote down her order and said, "Alright."

Charlie said, "I would like a sprite and a chicken salad, please."

Blythe wrote down his order and said, "Okay, your food will be here soon."

Vanilla and Charlie said, "Thanks."

Blythe left to the kitchen to give the chefs the orders.

About five minutes later, Blythe returned with the drinks and set them on Charlie and Vanilla's table.

Blythe said, "Your food will be ready shortly."

Charlie said, "Alright, thanks."

Blythe walked back into the kitchen.

About another ten minutes later, Blythe returned with the food and placed it on Charlie and Vanilla's table.

Blythe said, "Enjoy."

Vanilla said, "We will."

After Charlie and Vanilla ate their food, they went to pay for it.

Blythe was at the cash register. Vanilla and Charlie walked up to the desk.

Charlie asked, "How much do we owe you for the food and drinks?"

Blythe said, "Your total today is $20.00."

Charlie gave Blythe $20.00 for the meal and said, "Alright, here you go."

Blythe took the money and said, "I'll see you and Vanilla on the first day of school."

Vanilla said "Yeah bye."

Charlie said "Bye."

Vanilla and Charlie headed back to Vanilla's house.
