Ch 1- Dentist Appointment

Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 20th, 2022

Today was the day of Vanilla and Mayanna's dentist appointment. Vanilla and Mayanna had some breakfast before going to the dentist.

Cora said, "Go and brush your teeth before leaving."

Vanilla said, "Okay, Mom."

Mayanna said, "Alright, Mom."

Vanilla and Mayanna went to brush their teeth; after, Cora drove them down to Tulsa Dental Office. Once they arrived, Vanilla and Mayanna walked into the building with their mom.

The family went up to the receptionist's desk.

Lucie said, "Welcome to Dr.Smith-Miller's office."

Cora said, "Hello."

Lucie asked, "What can I help you with?"

Cora said, "My daughters Vanilla and Mayanna have an appointment with Dr.Smith-Miller."

Lucie said, "Alright, you may take a seat; someone will call your daughters back soon."

Cora said, "Okay."

Vanilla, Mayanna and Cora went to sit in the living room. About ten minutes later, a dental hygienist came out.

Kira said, "Vanilla Curtis."

Vanilla stood up and walked over to the dental hygienist.

Kira said, "Come with me."

Vanilla said, "Okay."

Kira led Vanilla into one of the dental exam rooms.

Vanilla sat down on the dental chair.

Kira said, "Dr.Smith-Miller will be here shortly for your dental check-up then I'll do the cleaning."

Vanilla said, "Okay."

Kira sat at the desk. Dr.Smith-Miller walked into the exam room.

Dr. Smith-Miller said, "Hello, Vanilla."

Vanilla replied, "Hi, Dr.Smith-Miller."

Dr.Smith-Miller said, "We will begin with your dental check-up."

Vanilla said, "Okay."

Dr.Smith-Miller gave Vanilla a pair of sunglasses. Vanilla took them and put them on.

Vanilla said, "Thanks."

Dr.Smith-Miller then lowered the dental chair so that Vanilla got laid back and said, "It's time for your dental exam."

Vanilla gave a nod, and Dr.Smith-Miller began his dental exam after he got done with it.

Dr. Smith-Miller asked, "When did you get your wisdom tooth out?"

Vanilla said, "I got my wisdom teeth out shortly after I turned 14 because my mouth didn't have enough room."

Dr.Smith-Miller said, "Okay."

A few seconds later, Dr.Smith-Miller walked out of the room.

Kira said, "Alright, it's time for X-rays."

Vanilla said, "Okay."

Kira did the dental x-ray and proceeded to clean Vanilla's teeth.

About forty-five minutes later, Vanilla was finally done getting her teeth cleaned.

Kira said, "You may go now."

Vanilla took off the sunglasses and gave them to Kira then Vani walked into the waiting room. A few minutes later, the dental hygienist came out.

Kira said, "Mayanna Curtis."

Mayanna stood up and walked over to Kira.

Kira said, "Come with me."

Mayanna followed Kira into one of the dental exam rooms.

Kira said, "Dr.Smith-Miller should be here shortly for your dental exam."

Mayanna said "Okay."

Dr.Smith-Miller came in and gave Mayanna her dental exam, then left the room. Kira did Mayanna's x-rays and cleaning. After Mayanna got her teeth cleaned, she went to the waiting room, where her sister and mother were waiting for her.

Kira came out and said, "Book another appointment for cleaning."

Cora said "Okay."

Kira walked back into the dental exam rooms.

Cora walked up to the receptionist's desk.

Lucie asked, "When will you be available for another cleaning?"

Cora said, "In 6 months."

Lucie said, "Bye-bye see you in 6 months."

Cora and her daughters left and started to drive back home and were home in a few minutes.
