Ch 35- Mayanna's First Day Of Senior Year

Tulsa, Oklahoma, August 26th, 2022

Today was the first day of Mayanna's senior year of highschool. She woke up and got out of her bed.

Vanilla woke up next and said, "Morning, sis."

Mayanna replied, "Morning, Vani."

Vanilla asked, "Are you ready for your senior year of highschool."

Mayanna replied, "Yeah, but I am also a bit nervous."

Vanilla said, "Don't be my senior year turned out great."

Mayanna said, "Okay."

Vanilla stated, "I'll drop you off at school today."

Mayanna stated, "Okay."

Vanilla grabbed her clothes and went to get ready in the bathroom.

After Vanilla was ready, Mayanna headed to the bathroom to get ready for her last first day of school.

About ten minutes later, Mayanna was ready.

Her outfit consisted of a pink dress and some black leggings for jewelry; she was wearing a Capricorn necklace that she got from Vanilla on her 16th birthday.

Mayanna went downstairs for some breakfast.

Cora said, "Morning, honey."

Mayanna stated, "Morning, Mom."

Popcorn asked, "Are you ready for your final year of highschool?"

Mayanna replied, "Yeah, I am."

Popcorn said, "That's great, honey."

Cora said, "Your sister will pick you up and drop you off at school today since your father and I have business meetings today."

Mayanna replied, "Okay, Mom."

After Mayanna ate breakfast, she got into her sister's car.

Vanilla and Mayanna buckled up, and Vanilla started the car and drove off to Will Rogers Highschool.

About eight minutes later, Vanilla's car was in front of Will Rogers Highschool.

Vanilla said, "I'll see you after school, sis."

Mayanna said "Alright."

Vanilla said, "I'll come and pick you up after you end school."

Mayanna unbuckled her seatbelt and took her things, got out of the car and walked right into the high school building. Vanilla drove off back home.

All of the students got gathered in the gym for a back-to-school assembly.

Principal Rodriguez said, "Welcome to a new school year. I see we have two new people here."

Blair said, "That's right."

Brett said, "That's correct."

Coach Mkay said, "We hope you two will like Will Rogers Highschool."

Principal Rodriguez said, "I would like for everyone to treat Blair and Brett Whitlock-Elrod with respect."

Everyone else at the assembly shook their heads yes.

Principal Rodriguez said, "You may now head to your first-period class."

Luna said "Alright."

Everyone walked out of the gym individually and to their first-period class.

Mayanna walked into her chemistry class and sat down.

Eloise said "Hey."

Mayanna asked, "How was your summer?"

Eloise said, "It was good."

Mayanna said, "That's good."

Eloise asked, "How was your summer?"

Mayanna replied, "My summer was good."

The teacher entered the classroom with the class list, took attendance, and introduced himself.

Mr.Lowe said, "Welcome to your first chemistry class. I am Mr.Lowe, and I hope you will do well in this class as your chemistry diploma will be in January."

About an hour later, the bell rang, signalling it was time for the next class.

Mayanna walked to her next class, which was English.

Matt said, "Hey, baby."

Mayanna said, "Hi, Matt."

Matt asked, "How was your summer, honey?"

Mayanna said, "I had a great summer."

Matt said, "I also had a great summer."

Mr.Brown walked into his class and said, "Hi, I am Mr.Brown, and I will be your English teacher this semester. Once January rolls around, you will take your English diploma test in two parts."

The English teacher took attendance and got started with his lesson.

Another hour later. Mayanna walked to her third class of the day, which was Choral. This was the only class that Mayanna had all her friends and boyfriend in. Maddie, Liv and Mayanna were talking to each other when the teacher walked in.

Mr.Smith said, "Hello, everyone. I am Mr.Smith, and I will be your Choral teacher this semester. This class will end sometime in January before the start of diploma season."

The teacher took attendance before giving something to his class to do.

An hour later, it was finally time for lunch. Mayanna and her friends and boyfriend all headed over to the cafeteria for lunch. Mayanna got her lunch, like her friends; they were now finding a seat in the cafeteria.

Eloise asked, "How are you all liking senior year so far?"

Mayanna replied, "I like my senior year so much already."

Maddie responded, "I am also liking it."

Liv said, "I feel like this will be the best year ever."

Matt said, "Yeah, I agree with you."

Mayanna and her friends and boyfriend talked about their summer while eating lunch.

About thirty minutes later, lunch was over, and Mayanna was now walking to her fourth-period art class with Mr. Sea.

Mayanna was talking to Joey while waiting for the teacher to arrive. The teacher soon walked into the art classroom.

Mr. Sea said, "Hello, everyone. I am Mr. Sea, and I'll be your art teacher for this semester. This class will end sometime around January before diploma exams start."

Everyone gave the teacher a nod. The teacher took attendance before giving out an assignment. About an hour later, the bell rang.

Mayanna walked to her fifth-period class, which was History with Miss. Andy.

Joey and Roy were talking with Mayanna. Soon enough, the teacher walked in with a pair of papers.

Miss. Andy said, "Hello, class; my name is Miss. Andy and I'll be your history teacher this semester. Your diploma exams will be in January."

The teacher took attendance and got started with her lesson.

Another hour later, the bell rang, and Mayanna walked to her last-period physics class with Miss. Johnson.

Holly and Parker were talking with Mayanna. The physics teacher walked in.

Miss.Johnson said, "Hi, class. I am Miss. Johnson and I will be your physics teacher this semester. Your diploma will be taking place in January."

The teacher took attendance and got on with her lesson.

An hour later, the bell rang, meaning it was time to head home.

Mayanna got picked up by Vanilla, who asked May about her first day of senior year.

Eight minutes later, Vanilla and Mayanna got back home.

Later that night, Mayanna was doing her homework for her core classes. Mayanna had a wonderful first day back at school.
