We sat on the garden chairs, she drank her tea in silence next to me, her leg was still restless and tapping, I took a sip and pointed at the green house.
"Can I see it?" I asked. She nodded and gulped the rest of her drink before standing up, we walked there and then she opened the door.
The heat made me realise how cold the weather outside was, as we walked past various fruits her face seemed to get redder and redder.
"It's fine. Let's go out." I said placing a hand on her back and guiding her out, her whole body relaxed as we got out.
"I didn't know that you can't stay for 10 minutes in a green house." I teased her. She glared at me and walked quickly back to sit on the bench.
"It's too hot." she replied.
"of course it's hot. The plants will grow faster at an optimum temperature because of the enzyme-"
"I don't care. No need to throw a lecture." She said making me laugh.
"What? I was just adding to your general knowledge information." I teased her again and this time she turned her whole body towards me.
"I know what you were about to say to save it. Enzymes and growth and biology. I know all of that." she said.
"wow, I didn't know you were this humble." I laughed at her and she seemed to loose it and she smacked my hand.
"oh... Am sorry, was I too strong?" She said covering her lips with her thin fingers. I smiled at her.
"You have the weakest hit ever." I said and she seemed offended.
"That was because I didn't mean to hurt you." She said after clearing her throat and turning away from me.
After a long while of silence, I turned towards her and saw he neck resting on the bench and her eyes closed, her hair started to get clumsy and fell all around her face.
"Are you awake?" I whispered to her, she hummed and sat up straight while massaging her nose bridge.
"I'm sorry." She said sitting up straight, I stood up and she did as well.
"I'm going home now." I said and she accompanied me towards the door, he'd dad was sleeping already and my mum left ahead to leave us alone.
I waited for the driver to bring the car back from the garage, she held my left hand between hers and cleared her throat before looking at me in the eyes.
"I want to choose you." She said.
"oh..." I was so lost at words at this moment.
"Am sick of all those men who come here every now and then. If you came here again my dad will stop bringing them." She said in a low voice while eyeing her shoes.
"Wait... You want me here so that your dad will not bring annoying men over? Does Mina knows about this." I said, knowing Mina likes me But I don't.
"Oh no." she said to herself releasing my hand. "Oh... Mina? What?"
I took my card out of my pocket and handed it to her, she looked at it for a while. The car engine was now in ear range, I took her hand and kissed its back before walking off.
The moment I was in the car alone, I screamed and the driver jolted surprised by that. I think I just ruined everything, did I have to mention Mina?
I slapped myself repeatedly before deciding to stop, she must have had thought that am some sort of pervert. My phone started to buzz in my pocket.
I huffed before pulling it and answering it, Jake must have remembered me telling him that I have an arranged date.
"So... Is she hot?" the first words that he said.
"She's Aeri." I answered.
"Lee Aeri? The Aeri that we know? Lee Aeri?"
"Sunghoon's boss."I said.
"That's crazy! So how did it go?" He said.
"I think it went fine." I said not planning to tell him how I screwed up everything in the last minute, that will only be a reoson for Jay to laugh more at me.
"Man! This is crazy. I wish I were you." he said and we both laughed.
"Jay will go nuts." I told him and he laughed in agreement.
