Corinna froze when she saw the vehicle parked outside of the jail. She was released and told that someone was there to pick her up, so she was expecting CJ and Gus.
"Thank you for picking me up," She spoke without making eye contact. "You didn't need to."
"I wasn't gonna leave your ass in jail." Tracy chuckled.
"I told you to just to get ahold of CJ or Peep for me." She rolled her eyes as she buckled herself into the passenger seat. "Your number was just the only one I knew at the top of my head."
Tracy just smiled as he pulled away and drove towards Corinna's place. Corinna called CJ to let her know that she can just head to the new apartment with Gus and she'll meet up with them later.
"Ava misses you." Tracy glanced at Corinna.
"I miss her, too."
"I also miss you." Tracy added. Corinna looked out of her window instead of at the man driving her home. "I'm not doing drugs, you know. I quit when we first got together."
"You're still selling them." Corinna hissed.
"Just for a while," Tracy sighed. "I just needed-"
"Needed what? To put your life at danger? To put your daughter's life at danger?" Corinna was visibly angry. "You think this is just fun and games but it's not, Jazz. This is real life."
"I needed a little extra money because I wanted to buy you a fuckin' ring, Corinna."
Corinna didn't speak.
"I haven't released any music in a minute and we haven't been touring or doing any shows so I just picked the quickest-"
"Are you fucking stupid? Like, actually? Are you
dumb?" Corinna was now looking at Tracy, her finger pointing in his face. "What is wrong with you? You're absolutely insane. There's no way there's an actual fucking brain inside of your head.""Weren't you just in jail for beating Layla's ass in the streets?" Tracy smirked. "You're crazy, too."
"That's not the same thing at all and you know that, Jazz." Corinna was fuming.
"So you gonna marry me or what?"
"Obviously." Corinna looked at Tracy as if she weren't done arguing yet. The man smiled wide, put his car in park in front of Corinna's apartment, and leaned in to kiss his new fiancée on the lips.

"So this will be our room," CJ lead the tall man through the empty apartment by his hand. "This would be the baby's room."
Gus and CJ stepped into the third room and looked around at the bare walls. "And this?"
"Well," CJ smiled shyly. "This is an extra room in case we... I don't know."
She didn't have to say. Gus smiled and kissed the top of the girl's blonde head. "This is perfect, Jo. Really."
"I think so, too." CJ hugged Gus tightly. "Corinna said she and Tracy can help us move in tomorrow. Tonight we can stay at her place again. We should go soon and ice your face." She rubbed her thumb over Gus's bruises.
"Can we talk first?" Gus looked down at his hands as he held CJ's. He lead CJ out to the balcony to talk.
"Oh no, you're not going to push me to my death are you?" CJ asked jokingly.
"Nah, nothing like that." Gus smiled. "I just- I love you, Jo."
CJ felt her cheeks get hot as she looked up into Gus's deep brown eyes. "I love you too, Elijah."
"You mean it? Because I know that the guy you were with while I was away is, like, a fucking doctor, and I'm nothing close that. I mean, I make a lot of money when I'm making music and doing shows but-"
CJ cut him off with a groan.
"Holy shit- I think that was another contraction." She spoke through gritted teeth.
"Another?" Gus's eyes widened.
"I was having them- ow- in the waiting room." She explained. "These ones are a lot closer than before."
"What the fuck does that mean?" Gus panicked.
"Get me back to the- argh!- hospital!"
