Gus smiled in a haze, trying to meet Corinna's eyes through the smoke that filled the tour bus. She was pointing and screaming in his face but he wasn't listening. He looked to Tracy who was just shaking his head in disappointment.
"Okay mom." Gus mocked, laughing.
"Are you even listening to a fucking word I'm saying?!" Corinna shouted over the music.
Strangers who had lined up outside of the venue to watch Tracy and Peep perform now roamed around the bus high and drunk. Layla sat in the corner, purse in her lap, looking upset as well- this isn't how she imagined this would go. Tracy grabbed his things out of his bunk, took his girlfriend's hand, and left the bus.
"We're on in 30 minutes." He mumbled to his friend on the way out.

CJ decided to get out of her apartment before she drives herself crazy thinking about Gus. She walked to Starbucks a few blocks away for some fresh air.
"I don't know what I'm going to do," CJ spoke softly, placing her hand on her belly as she waited for her drink. "I don't know if you'll have a dad to help raise you... But you'll definitely have an aunt and uncle who will love you." She sighed. "And me. I love you."
A small group of teenagers sat at a table near CJ, and she couldn't help but overhear their conversation and they all stared at one's phone screen.
"They're live-streaming the Lil Peep and Lil Tracy concert!" One announced. CJ took her drink once it was ready and let her curiosity get the better of her. She sat at the table behind the teens and tried to glance at the phone over their shoulders.
"Dude, Peep is seriously tripping." One mentioned, as if it was funny.
CJ frowned, watching the screen. Gus was hardly intelligible, he looked lost on the stage. CJ wasn't even sure if Gus knew which song he was supposed to be performing. She instantly felt a wave of nausea.

"Get off stage." Tracy shoved Gus back. Gus stumbled but stayed on stage, mumbling nonsense into his mic.
"You're fucked up. Get off stage." Tracy repeated. "Cut the music, we're done." Tracy spoke the last part into his mic. The music stopped abruptly and the crowed gasped and booed as Tracy assisted his friend off stage.
"See? This is exactly what I was talking about." Corinna followed the guys back to the tour bus. "You think you're ready to be a father? This is why CJ didn't tell you anything. You're so-"
"Corinna, shut the fuck up." Tracy snapped.
Corinna froze. "Excuse me?"
"He's hurting." Tracy sighed. "Leave him alone."
"I'll leave him alone forever." Corinna scoffed. "I don't ever want to see him again if he's going to keep hurting CJ. Take me home."
"We're all going home."
