You wake up to warmth still enveloping you so you smile sleepily and flutter your eyes open.
You keep your cheek pressed against Tal's chest as you look up at him still peacefully asleep.
You stay like that for a little while longer, your brain going crazy with thoughts. You don't even realize at first that Tal's eyes are twitching.
"Mm...good morning beautiful..." Tal smiles sleepily
"Good morning handsome" you blush and smile shyly
"How long you been just staring at me you little creep?" He chuckles, a low rumble in his chest
"Not...too...long. I'm sorry I just didn't wanna wake you yet, you looked so peaceful." You say
He's about to say something back when suddenly there's commotion downstairs from Witchita and Columbus.
"What is going on down there?" You groan softly as you sit up and rub your eyes
"I have no idea." He says concerned as he quickly stands and pulls on his pants.
You quickly get up too as he rushes to the door, not caring to put his shirt on, so you grab his shirt and pull it on while following, not caring to put your pants on.
He quickly makes his way down the stairs and you follow as fast but as carefully as you can in your half asleep state.
"Hey, What's going on??" Tal says as he gets to Col's side at the open front door
You make it down a few seconds later and push between the boys, having to press up against Tal's side to see.
"What's wro--" you start but the Jeep speeding off with a screech of the tires cuts you off
"H-hey!" Your eyebrows furrow in confusion and anger
"God-- you are like a giant cock-blocking robot, like, developed in a secret fucking government lab!" Col says angrily
He turns and rushes back in the house in frustration. Tal slowly turns and looks at him confused.
"Hey.." Tal says offended
"Don't 'hey' me. Apparently my life doesn't fucking matter-- oh, but no, it's okay, I'm glad you two had your fun!" Col turns and says angrily
"H-hey..." You say softly and press more into Tallahassee's side
Tal instinctively wraps his arm around you in a tight comforting hug and cradles your head close with his other hand.
"Hey. Don't take it out on us, we didn't do anything to you both, she's the one that decided she couldn't stand you!" Tal suddenly shouts protectively
"Oh-- She couldn't stand me?! It was you two obnoxious love birds she couldn't stand! I kept hoping the bed wouldn't get any squeakier! God, I regret sticking with you, you are crazy!!" Col shouts at Tal
"Obnoxious...?" You breath out and blush in embarrassment and hurt, immediately Tal holds you tighter
"You're the most obnoxious one, not us! You don't think I regret taking you in either?? You've been nothing but a pain in the ass!!" Tal shouts, eyebrows furrowed
"You're probably the one that scared her off with your sob story and made her think her sister will die too!" Col suddenly points at you
"Sob story...?" You freeze and your eyes widen in shock and hurt
"Hey!--" Tal's eyebrows furrow more
"I don't blame her for running with her sister, you probably traumatized her with how goddamn loud you were screaming!!" Col steps closer
