CHAPTER THREE — aunt may

"YOU CANT JUST PULL SHIT LIKE this and expect us to cover your asses everytime."

Good news. Dinah paid us a visit.

That was sarcasm if you couldn't tell.

I swear to god it's like she radiates negative vibes.

"You promised us legal immunity. So we asked for legal immunity." I state with confidence. Frank was currently at the stove working on our dinner as me and Dinah went back and forth mindlessly.

"Yeah...legal immunity to what happened at Central Park! Not to everything else after that." She sighed out pinching the bridge of her nose and shaking her head at us.

Sometimes it felt like she was our mother and we were her two trouble making children.

"Well you should've been more specific then! Shitty fucking detective you are." I mumbled the last part, not really caring if she heard me or not.

"I'm not a detective you little shi-"

"Both of you shut the hell up, alright?" Frank interrupted turning from the boiling pot in front of him. "Now Madani..." He points at her with a stern look.

"What's up with the uh..."

"Gordons." I remind him.

"Gordons."

He pronounced it more like gore-dawns. I don't know if he did it to mock them or if he genuinely thinks he's supposed to say it like that.

"Well your kid is suspended for a week and Riley's been in the ER for about." She looked down at her watch to check the time. "Four and a half hours so..." She confirms sarcastically.

"Well maybe the kid'll learn how to shut her damn mouth." Frank spat and Dinah only released a frustrated sigh for about the hundredth time since she's been here.

Frank then carelessly turns back towards his boiling pot of spaghetti sauce.

"I'm done here." She quickly snatched her coat off the rack near the door before throwing it on while looking me dead in the eye. "No more fights." She stated before flickering her eyes over to Frank. "Both of you." But he only laughs dryly at the fact that she believes he would get into a fight.

I mean he has.

Multiple actually. It was pretty bad.

But Dinah doesn't know that, and plus we technically weren't even in New York when it happened so...
