CHAPTER ZERO — the amazing spider-man

ITS BEEN ALMOST FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS SINCE EVERYTHING. Three and a half to be exact. We've been on the move for quiet some time now since Frank  had decided it wouldn't be as safe to stay in one spot at the time. I didn't exactly favor the idea of running, but at least we got a nice roadtrip out of it.

I've always wanted to go on a roadtrip and we couldn't stay where we were even though everyone else in the city believed me and Frank died on that carousel.

Aside from the excitement of being able to see new places the transition was strange for me in all honesty. Watching people announce your own death on the news while simultaneously knowing you were alive and well.It made me wonder how Frank did it.

We've been to Washington, Florida, Seattle, and Vegas. The last one was a bit of a surprise from Frank, while I was healing up in the hospital we would talk to each other about what we were going to do when I got out, the places we would go and the people we would see.

It seemed Frank just so happened to jot down my top destination during that one game of 21 questions.

That's where we met Elvis, and where I just so happened to go blonde. El was our beautiful black fur ball of two weeks who was currently enjoying the ride home from the back of the van.

But after all that moving around Frank and I figured that it was finally time to settle down and find a home.

Now we we're speeding down the Skyway on our way to the two story, two bedroom home in Queens Frank managed to get his hands on. According to him I was starting my first day of school tomorrow morning.

I can't help but shiver with excitement at the mere thought. I've never been to a real school before. I mean I've seen them but just the exterior, the closest I've been to being inside a was seeing it on TV.

Thank god for High-school Musical.

After that I'll be in charge of helping Frank pick out and bring back to the new house. Well Frank going to be doing all of the 'bringing back'. I had only just gotten my cast off yesterday and he absolutely refuses to risk anything, which is why he's responsible for all the lugging for the rest of the week promising he'll let me help out soon.

' I just need to be sure you're better before I let you do anything that could mess your hand up again. '

Sometimes I can still feel it, the gut wrenching pain of his boot crushing my hand. The doctor says it's a trauma response or something and that it'll wear off sooner or later. That in a while all of it will become a memory.
