Prologue

No ones pov

"You daughter can't keep doing this" the principal says as he points to the stack next to him. He opens one and starts to speak. "Your daughter was in another fight and this is her third warning." Camilia looks at Luz and luz tugs her beanie. The principle keeps going, "last time we were here we were talking about moving you to your brother's school. It's up to you if you want to attend hexside.'' Luz wasn't paying attention; she was too busy listening to music.while her mom thought long and hard about it. "Yes she's going." Now luz was interested she slowly took one airpod out of her ear. "Well then here's the map." Luz was still confused but decided to wait till she left his office.

Luz pov

"Mami, what was that about?" Luz asks. "Were you seriously not paying attention, mija? Camila answers. Luz rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "ay, no me pongas los ojos en blanco."(oh, don't roll your eyes at me) Camila says. "Well it looks like you and hunter are about to be the best sibling in the world." Camilia adds on. "Mami, what do you mean by that." said Luz suspiciously. "You got enrolled into hexside!!'' Camilia screams with joy. Do i really have to go to the preppy private school? I groan at that thought. "Why don't you wanna go to hexside?" asked camilia. "I don't know, I just don't want to go to a posh prep school." Luz sighs. "Well it looks like you have no other choice after you just got expelled from this school." I WHAT?!

The car ride home was quiet. I was listening to music, and mom was concentrating on driving. When we got home, i walked inside, and said hi to everyone. "Why are you back so early?" said eda. "Well i-" but mom stopped me. "She got expelled." "WOOOHOOOO!!" Eda says then coughs, "I mean that's horrible." she continues. "What school is she going to?" Vee asks. "She's going to hexside." camilia adds. "Wait, she's going with hunter?" Vee asks. "Yea I hope they can share a dorm." Dorms?? Wait, I didn't agree to this. "Mami, what do you mean 'dorms''" "oh didn't i tell you?" I shake my head. "Oh you won't be coming back home after school, you have dorms." as if life couldn't get any worse. I always thought Hunter was staying at a friend's house for the whole school year and mom just let him. Now that I think of it, it won't be that bad to go to a new school since I did get bullied and harassed at this one. "Luz??" Camilia snaps Luz out of her daze. "Oh uh yes" Luz says back. "Get to bed, me and Eda have to find a plane ticket for you tomorrow." "okay i'll be going." Luz says.

I change to my pjs and get into bed. I was wondering who i was going to meet, maybe a hot boy, well enough of that time for bed.
