3: L (Myungsoo) of INFINITE

It was one of those sad rainy days where the dark clouds blocked the blue sky and won't let any rays of sunshine pass through its thickness. It was Christmas, and instead of snow, we have gloomy, cold rain.

But Dree knew that the rain would be turned into snow soon due to the cold weather.

It was the day she hates the most, Christmas. The day where people decorate their houses with lights and streets filled with colors and happiness.

But Dree doesn't feel the same as them on Christmas. She felt empty and sad, as always. It has been two years since the incident. And she could never erase it off her mind, no matter how hard she tried to convince herself that it's the past.

She texted him with a quick I love you and wished him a good luck on his interview.

She felt a bit disappointed that he didn't even text her back, and the show was already aired. Myungsoo's handsome face popped up on the screen along with other members in his group. He looked good as always with his soft brown hair and cute smile. She sighed.

The host asked the members some random questions and confession they wanted to tell their viewers. And it was finally Myungsoo's turn.

"I do have a confession to make." he said, sitting up a bit straighter. The boys around him scooted closer to him in anticipation, urging him to go on.

"I have a girlfriend." He stated, his dark eyes stared into the camera smiled, almost apologetically.

What? Dree thought to herself. She thought that he wanted to keep their relationship a secret. She remembered when he told her he'd let her know when he was ready to announce the media about her.

Something was really off. She couldn't help but worry.

"Really?" The host asked in surprise, "What's her name then?"

Dree closed her eyes, hoping that Myungsoo won't spill out her name, she was afraid the media would attack her and bash at her, she just wanted a normal life. Maybe it was a mistake asking Myungsoo when he'd tell people about them two, maybe it was a big mistake wanting him to actually tell the media about their relationship.

But the name that tumbled out of his lips wasn't hers, it was instead, someone's name she had never heard of.

The feelings started to creep into her heart and seize it into its torturous arms, she felt like she was stabbed. The feeling of betrayal and hurt mixed together wasn't a good combination.

She couldn't really do anything then, she just curled into a ball on the couch and cried her heart out.

After the incident, Dree fell into a long period of depression. Myungsoo never called her, he never visited, he never said anything. She tried calling him the next day of the incident, but he never picked up his phone, and that was when she knew that it was over between them. She still sees him on those shows and sometimes his group's music video on TV.

Unfortunately for Dree, the day that he called it off was Christmas.

She hated him. She hated the fact that he made her unhappy on a day where everyone is jolly and enjoying their time with their loved ones. She hated the fact that he was so happy while she's hurting.

Dree wiped off the tears that streamed down her cheeks, sniffing softly beside the fireplace that held memories of them together. Them cuddling, them kissing, them playfully fighting.

He promised her that he'd make her happy, he promised her that he'd never leave her.

He's a liar.
