"730 days, 72 hours.." Ash mumbled to herself as she aimlessly walked the streets of Seoul. It was a cold night and it was already late but still she's wandering the streets. She went to a house party hosted by one of her friends and saw an unexpected sight she wished she hadn't seen.

"730 days, 72 hours.." The memories came flooding inside her head one by one.

They were walking and heading home from school when Taehyung suddenly grabbed her hand and have her face him. "Ash, I want to tell you something.."

She looked at him with creased eyebrows. "What is it?"

He breathed deeply and came closer. "Ash, I think I'm in love with you.."

Ash looked stunned. She loves him too though she had been hiding it. They were best of friends and she never thought that Taehyung would feel the same for her. She couldn't believe it.

"Ash?" He asked her again looking worried, pleading. Like he was waiting for her to tell him she loves him too. "Ash, I love you.."

"Taehyung, I.. I love you too.." It was almost a whisper but enough for him to hear.

He smiled at her and she saw in his eyes how happy he was when he heard what she had said. 

Taehyung looked at her deeply and touched her cheek. "I promise I'll take care of you. You won't regret this. I love you.."

"730 days, 72 hours.." She mumbled again.

"Taehyung? Where are you? I've been waiting here for hours. Please call me back. Are you still going to pick me up?" After she left a dozen voice mails her boyfriend finally responded with a text message.

"Sorry babe, I couldn't pick you up right now. Have to finish something mom asked me to do. Call you later. I love you."

"730 days, 72 hours.." Tears brimmed in her eyes.

They were sitting on their usual spot at the school grounds and Ash gave Taehyung a peck on the cheek. The latter was surprised and flinched a bit. He looked at her  then.

"Saranghae, jagiya." Ash smiled at him.

Taehyung half smiled and looked around before turning to look at her again. "Saranghae."

She hugged him but this time, his arms didn't wrap over her shoulders like they used to.

"730 days, 72 hours.."

She searched for him on the crowd. She didn't tell him she's also going to Hyoami's party. She wanted to surprise him, but it was her who got surprised instead of him.

Ash saw his familiar frame. Even though he had his back on her she knew it was Taehyung. He has dark brown hair and a tall and lean physique, some of his features she had known for several years from when they were just bestfriends until they were lovers.

She walked towards him with a smile playing on her lips. She was only a few steps away when all of a sudden there were two arms that wrapped around his neck and he bent down his head, like he was kissing someone.

"T-Taehyung?"

He instantly turned his back to look at her. His face drained its color once he saw her. "A-Ash?"

The girl from his back took a peek. Ash didn't know her. She wasn't a student from their school. "Who is she, babe?" The girl asked him.

"Babe?" She was dumbfounded and confused. But more than that, she felt a searing pain on her chest. It was obvious. He had been cheating on her.
