6: Baekhyun of EXO (Part 1)

Yeiko hurriedly ate her breakfast. It's almost seven o'clock in the morning and Baekhyun will pick her up and both of them will walk together towards the school.

"Bye, eomma!" Yeiko kissed her mother on the cheek.

"Take care of yourself, Yeiko." Her mom tells her as she went out of the house.

Yeiko stood in front of their house waiting for her childhood bestfriend. Baekhyun is the son of a family friend, and though they have a two year gap they instantly became friends when they were kids up until now. She is a sophomore in Xavier High while Baekhyun is a senior, both of them an only child.

Ten minutes have passed and Yeiko is still waiting for him. "Aish! That man. He's late." She mumbles.

After another five minutes Baekhyun came on rushing towards her, hair tousled on the side like he hasn't combed it yet and the buttons of his polo unbuttoned. "Mianhe, Yeiko-ssi." He apologized in between breaths. "I woke up late."

"Aigoo.. Tsk! What have you been doing last night huh? Aish." Yeiko scolded him like a mother. "Look at you." She shakes her head. "Here let me fix you." She buttoned his uniform and fixed his hair. "There, oppa. Now you look like you're ready for school." She giggled.

"Gomawo, Yeiko-ssi." Baekhyun tells her smilingly. "Let's go." He was about to walk when Yeiko blocked his way.

"Ah, ah, ah. You're forgetting something oppa." Yeiko tells him.

Baekhyun looks at her with wrinkled eyebrows. "What is it?"

"You had me waiting here and you're late. I demand a piggy back ride." Yeiko told him with her arms folded on top of her chest.

Baekhyun scratches the back of his head. "Aigoo.." Yeiko shot her a warning look and he nods his head. "Araseo, araseo." Yeiko finally smiles and happily rode on his back.

"To the school!" Yeiko exclaimed, a finger pointed towards the direction of the school.

"Aish. This kid." Baekhyun shook his head and started walking. "Ya, Yeiko-ssi. You're getting heavy huh?" He joked.

"Ya! That's not true!" She protested and ruffled his hair.

"Ya! You messed it up again!"

"You said I'm heavy! In turn I made you look ugly!"

"How can other girls like me then huh? Yeiko-ssi?" Baekhyun tells her which made Yeiko quiet all of a sudden.

"Hey.. You suddenly became quiet.." Baekhyhun tells her.

"Oppa.. Do you already like someone else?" Yeiko asks him in a low voice.

Baekhyun gave out a half smile. "No." He answers which made Yeiko's face brighten up. "I still have to take care of you so I don't have time for that."

Yeiko couldn't help not to smile. "Ya, I'm no longer a child." But deep inside her, she feels happy hearing what he just said.

"You're no longer a child. You're soon to be a lady. And by that time there will be boys that will hover around you and tell you that they like you."

Yeiko pouted her lips. "I don't want that to happen."

Baekhyun chuckled. "You cannot prevent that, Yeiko-ssi."

"Hah! And you'd just let them?"

"Of course not. Not unless I'm sure they'll take care of you like I do."
