"You have to, please. For me, okay?" He begged Hosoek. His sister was in love with Hosoek. And he didn't want her to be sulk all the time because of him. Since Hosoek was his friend, he asked him to give her a chance. It wouldn't hurt.
"Just two months, come on." He nudge Hosoek when he huffed in annoyance and tried to ignore him.
"Look, dude, I don't see anything special in Cami. I don't want to." The same response was thrown at his face once again. They've talked over the topic many times, to the point where he couldn't keep count. And Hosoek would give the same response.
"I would want to be with him for a day! Or an hour. I just want him to call me his, just for a short amount of time. I would be happy." He kept on hearing those words in his mind. His sister was everything to him, and he was sure Hosoek would fulfill a small favor for him. They knew each other since forever.
And Cami had a crush on Hosoek since forever.
Being a big brother he was, he promised himself he would make his sister happy. And maybe Hosoek happy too. Hosoek is just too ignorant to see that Cami had a big heart and a beautiful personality. He will soon see.

"Hi, Cami." A familiar voice greeted her. She knew that voice anywhere. She would sometimes search for that sweet voice across the hallway or in class when he was having a conversation with his friends. She would quietly listen to their nonsense blabbering about sports and video games and the only thing she focused on was him.
Obsessed, she would sometimes defy herself. A normal girl who is obsessed with a boy who was her brother's best friend.
"Hello, Hosoek." She turned around and gave him a genuine smile. He rarely talks to her, and she was happy that he decided to approach her today, she was feeling a bit down since this morning.
"So uhm," He awkwardly scratch the back of his head, "your brother is going an amusement park tomorrow with Emi and he asked me to tag along. I didn't wanted to be the third wheeler but he's forcing me to. So, will you come too?"
She was shocked. He asked her to come to an amusement park with him. Her, out of all of the girls in school.
Her.
The butterflies started to flutter in her stomach and she felt like jumping for joy. Her crush is asking her to go on a double date!
"Oh, sure, I guess." Cami tried to sound cool. She didn't want him to see her as another girl who was falling head over heels for him. Even though she is one of those girls.
"See you then." He smiled a smile that made her heart stop for a beat.
"Bye." She whispered.
She waited for Hosoek to walk away until she couldn't see him anymore and did a silent squeal. She couldn't believe it! She had to thank her brother for inviting Hosoek along.
The next day rolled around pretty quickly. After her friends heard the news of her going on a "double date" with Hosoek, they wouldn't leave her alone.
It kept her awake all night, wondering if he actually asked her to come with him because he liked her, or he just asked her because she is his best friend's sister.
"You ready?" Her brother asked her when he finished getting dressed.
"Yeah." She stated as she took a deep breath to calm down her nerves.
The brother and sister got into the car and went to pick Hosoek and her brother's girlfriend up. They arrived at her brother's girlfriend's house first, and her brother demanded her to sit in the back of the car instead.
"I want to sit with my girlfriend." He stated as he dragged her to the back seat.
She huffed and crossed her arm. But at the same time she was glad that her brother made her sit back here, it meant that she'd be sitting next to Hosoek.

"Ah, we're here!" Her brother cheered as he killed the engine of his car and hopped out of it.
The car ride was well, awkward. Cami would steal small glances at Hosoek and he would catch her eyes every time she does. And every time her brother made a sharp turn, her shoulders would bump into Hosoek's, making her even more flustered.
"Have fun guys," Her brother and his girlfriend waved, "we'd like to have some time for ourselves." And with that, they disappeared into the crowd of people walking around the amusement park.
"Uhm," Cami said awkwardly, looking up at Hosoek to see where he wanted to go first.
"Let's go on the Ferris wheel?" He asked and pointed at the ride that was standing out more than other rides in the park since it's so tall.
"Sure." I smiled. I don't mind going on any rides, as long as I'm going on the ride with him, I'll be happy.

Hosoek and Cami hung out like friends at the amusement park that day. It made her a tad bit disappointed because she imagined it to be romantic in those cliche movies where he would take my hands and look into my eyes like she was really his and tell her that he liked her.
Heh, so much for dreaming.
But a day after the amusement park, he approached her again, asking if she wanted to grab a drink with him after school.
And her reply was an obvious yes.
It made her curious though. Because he would occasionally ask her out whenever he had the chance. And deep in her heart, she knew that he liked her.
But for an ordinary girl like she, she was insecure. She didn't dare to move to the topic nor question him about their relationship.
It got to the point where people would see them everywhere together. People started to come up to her and ask if they were together, because Hosoek is popular in the school. She would shrug and reply with the same answer, "You should ask him instead."
But that one day...
"Look, Cami," He spoke up from the silence that was eating up the atmosphere. The young boy and girl stood at the front of the school gate after everyone went home and he just stood there, looking at her, "Your brother told me to ask you out whenever I have time. Because he knew that you liked me." He explained.
It wasn't a surprise. She knew her brother was behind this after some research she had done. Everyone knows that she liked Hosoek. What's wrong with having a crush on a popular boy? She would sometimes want to question those girls who pushed her against the locker and threaten to hurt her if she kept on developing feelings for Hosoek. Even if she was a nobody, her brother is still somebody everybody admired. She didn't choose to be the school's gossip topic though, so she didn't follow his path. It doesn't make her a nobody. It made her a wise girl in her opinion.
Hosoek didn't willingly go on those dates with me. She concluded. It was her brother who made him do it. He didn't really want to be her friend. Dang, he might be thinking about another girl when he was asking her out.
"I guess you don't want us to talk to each other anymore, huh?" She assumed. Yeah, it hurts. It really did. But she expected it, she knew he would come up to her one day and tell her to get lost.
His brows furrowed as he took in her words, "What? No," He grabbed her shoulders, making her look into his brown eyes, "I wanted to say that even though I was half forced to ask you out, I-" He sucked in a breath, delaying his next words.
"All of those small dates we've had, forced to or not, I realized that I've developed feelings for you."
