I stood at the railing of the bridge, the cold air touching my face and her presence were no where to be seen, the images of her horrifying death still lingered all around my head

Her voice, she called for my help.. I was so blind and tried to keep her safe, but keeping her isolated in a room wasn't keeping her safe, it suffocated her and slowly lost her sanity

There she was, she stood still on the chair, she cinched the rope and around her neck was a noose, her emotionless eyes were visible throughout the darkness and I tried to call out to her on the other side of the door, but it was locked

I tried kicking the door with strong force and I cried, screaming and breaking through the door, I finally broke the door and hurriedly went to her, She had hanged herself and choked to death, I was too late and because of my selflessness, I had killed her

"M-Mina! Wake up! Please... I-I'm so sorry... Please... Don't leave us! I-I love you... " I tried to untangle the noose around her neck while holding her, already unconscious body

I removed the rope and laid her on the bed, I checked her pulse and was doing my best to revive her, but nothing... She was gone

I sang out and clenched my fist, I broke down and punched the wall, I felt my heart aching and it never stopped until now, if only I had took care of you without having to lock you in a room like a bird on a cage and take away the freedom you deserved, this wouldn't have happened

A sudden flashback flashed through my mind and I clutched my chest, I was holding her dead body close to me, her body were so pale and it was cold...

A sudden wailing echoed through the room and I woke up from it, annoyance were shown in my face and I stood up from the bed, looking where the crying sound was coming from

A tear fell down from my eye and I cradled the little baby into my arms, humming and calming it down

"Mr.Penguin felt so lonely and it tried it's best to find the cold island where it should've belong to, however... Filthy humans trapped it and planned on displaying the penguin for their own profit..." She continued and I felt bad, poor Penguin

"And then there was a vicious feline who got trapped on the same cage.. They forced the tiger to kill the helpless penguin who was crying and trying to find it's way on escaping the small isolated sanctuary, however the tiger did not... It was like the tiger understood Mr.Penguin."

"Tiger killed everyone and escaped with Mr.Penguin..."

"At the end, Mr.Penguin was saved by the tiger! They became friends after, they sticked together as always... Hopefully me and chaeyoungie would Always be there with each other, Forever." She beamed her gummy smile, and I laughed, she's so adorable, I wanna keep her in my pocket, and protect her at all cost

She may look strong but deep inside, she is fragile as a glass.. One hurtful word can shatter her and I still love her even if this was her state, she was trapped and abused by her parents...

Just like what she just shared.. She was the helpless penguin and I was the tiger, her protector. I saved her from the evil wrath of her parents

"Your literary works can surely make a success!" I picked her up and spun her around, we we're both in joy and nothing could go wrong

I stood lifelessly on the floor, the rope she had used were in my hands and I had tried to take away my own life as well

A careless whisper flew through my eardrums and I felt arms around my waist she sat next to me, a vivid image of her appeared on my mind with a smile that I clearly missed

I had tried to forget and lock away the pain, however it was impossible, her death left a big impact on me and it made me think about the purpose of my living

My purpose of living was to stay with you and protect you like how the tiger had protected the helpless penguin from the time of death

There was nothing I could do, I tried everything to turn back and runaway by moving on, but it was you that kept me from doing that

Here I am, once again.. Standing at the edge of the bridge, the cold wind blowing my hair over my face as I stood still. This is where I last stood with her, before she took her own life by her own hands and mine...

I brought my hand to my face, felt a wet tear sliding down on my cheek, my tear shined through my fingertips. I fell on my knees and started to break down again, I had tried to remian strong and keep the pain at bay, but being here in this place made me feel her presence and there was nothing I could do to bring her back

I was about to jump when all of a sudden, arms encircling around my waist and my heart started to palpitate, my tears were still flowing down in my eyes

"Eomma, why are you crying and why are you alone?" A smile soon started to appear on my face and I faced the small girl, she looked so confused and I couldn't help but to pull her up, carrying her

"Eomma was just remembering someone special. Don't worry, hyejoo-ah~" She hugged me back and slowly walked away from the bridge with her

"Eomma, I want to listen to the story of Mr.Penguin and The Tiger again!" I chuckled and nodded

I started on telling the little girl the story from A-Z, hugging the only piece of memory you had left... The little girl whom I had loved completely and promised to take care with full cautiousness and lovingly. As I walked away, I felt the warm wind caress my cheek and it was a sign of her

"You and me are Always Forever.. Even if fate seperates us from one another, you are Always in my heart Forever.."

This was short and boring, but meh.... I was stressing sm abt this and wanted to make it more deeper, hopefully y'all understood the story well...

Explanation:

Chaeng saved Mina when she was a teen. She had protected the girl up until they turned into adults, but mina started becoming more suicidal, leading chaeyoung to have no choice but to lock her in the room, away from any harm that she may do and she didn't realize that the girl had gave birth to a little girl that looked like her, which she had named 'Son Hyejoo.' When Mina had finally left her, she became helpless and didn't know what to do, so of course she tried taking her own life as well, not until she found the only piece of memory that Mina had left, which was the little girl and took care of her. Now, that's where everything ends.. sob*
