(Austin's P.O.V)

I get off the phone with Emily and look around my house. Everything has just felt so weird without her here.

New people moved in next door and it was an elderly couple. So not someone who I could even hang out with.

I just wish that I could climb up that window and she's be there. I... I don't even know how to think without her.

Originally when she left, I was a wreck in school. I didn't show up, I didn't do any f my work... I couldn't process any information.

All I wanted to do was be with her. I needed to be with her. Sometimes I just feel like she doesn't even exist and she's just something I made up in my head.

When she called me the second time, crying, I could feel my heartbreaking. I felt bad that I was making her cry even though it was because she wanted to be with me, not because of something I did wrong.

The next thing I knew I was on my laptop? I felt like I had to no control. My brain was shut off as I pulled up times for flights.

She was all I could think about. I needed to see her. I'm sick and tired off looking at her on a screen. I haven't touched her in... I don't even know how long.

We've been together over six months now, and I know it's not much but she is the one. I know she is. My need her with me forever, wether that be here in Florida or anywhere else in the world.

I was about to click the purchase button for a ticket when all the cons of this situation came into my head.

School.

Why does it have to ruin everything.

I got to school early and rushed to the building. I was planning on telling my teachers the situation.

"Okay look." I say out of breath to one of my teachers, "I need to go to California and I know school is almost over and I will be back before that but I need to see her."

"Her?" She asked, "wait- Emily?"

"Yeah." I say, smiling at thought that our teacher remembered her.

"I-... You have so many projects coming up Austin. Not just in my class but the others too and I don't know. Do you think you can wait until school ends?"

"I can't." I sighed, my mind and heart racing, "please Mrs. Taylor."

"I can talk to the other teachers about it but I don't know if it will work out-"

"I can do all the projects and write all my papers on the plan or at her her house. I just need to be around her. I haven't seen her... I need to be with her.. I-I love her." I say, embarrassed that I was pouring my heart out to a teacher but it's what I needed to do.

She smiled softly, "I say you can go. Is your mother okay with this? I can do my best to talk to the other teachers..."

"Thank you so much!" I smile excitedly, "my moms cool with it. She loves Emily."

"Then I guess I will talk to you at the end of the day." She smiles, "when do you plan on leaving if this all works out."

"Tomorrow." I said instantly, "and I'm still going to be talking to all my teachers and going in at lunch to get it sorted out so I stay caught up."

"Sounds like you put a lot of thought into this Mr. Mahone." She smiled at me.

"I have." I laughed, my fave turning red, "I kinda stayed up all night thinking of everything that could go wrong and I think figured it out."

She nods and smiles at me, "thank you Austin. I'll do the best I can."

I thank her before rushing at the room and going to my locker. I grab all my books and then make my way to another teacher, explaining he story to them.

After that I had to get to class, I sat down next to Alex out of breath.

"How's it going so far?" He asked me.

"I think it's going to work."

(Emily's P.O.V)

As Vanesssa and I walk over to the lunch table, I nervously eye Kylie who was sitting next to Dylan.

There was another open seat next to him and then another one next to Lauren. I quickly rushed ahead and sat next to Lauren with a forced smile.

"hey Em." Dylan smiled at me.

"Hi." I nervously say back, forcing a smile again.

I turned and started talking to Lauren but I could still see Kylie glaring at me out of the corner of my eye.

"Are you okay?" Lauren asks me quietly, "did you and Kylie have a fight or something?"

"N-No." I smile, "I'm just not feeling well that's all."

She just nods and then ignores the topic, starting to talk about something random about school.

"Hey Em?" Vanessa asked from across the table, "are you okay?"

"Um yeah fine." I said forcing a smile.

"Okay. Uh, do you wanna go to the bathroom with me real quick?" She asked and I just nodded.

We dumped our lunch trays and put them away before making our way into the bathroom. She checked to make sure it was empty and when she figured out it was she turned to me and said, "what's going on?! There is so much tension at the table."

"It's nothing." I said quietly, "I don't know what your talking about."

"That's bull and you know it." She says looking me in the eyes, "what's going on with you?"

"I can't tell you." I whisper, "I can't... She... I can't..."

"You can Emily. What's going on?"

"I'll tell you later...." I whisper and we walk out the bathroom and back to the table.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Vanessa gasps after I explain the whole situation to her, "that bitçh! She's crazy!"

"You can't tell anyone." I nervously say, "she said she'd make my life hell."

"You need to tell Austin."

"I can't!" I say instantly, grabbing my phone out of her grip, "she said if I even told anyone that she will do anything to make Austin believe that I'm cheating on him with Dylan. I can't lose him V."

She sighed and closed her eyes tight, "what are you going to do?"

"I don't know." I whisper, "but she can't take Austin away from me... I'm nothing without him."

"Okay. I'll-" she stated to say but I quickly interrupt.

"You can't do anything." I state, "if she suspects a thing I'm done for."

"Nobody else knows but me?" She asked carefully and I nod.

"Why does she hate me so much?" I ask looking at her, "I never did anything to her."

"I don't know what she's thinking. And if she wants Dylan to like her she shouldn't be a bîtch to him all the time." She rolled her eyes.

I just nod not knowing what else. We sit in silence until she says, "you really love him don't you?"

I smile, looking at the floor as I blush and nod, "he's amazing. You need to meet him."

"I would love to." She replied, "he seems so sweet."

"Maybe when he comes to get me after graduation you can- oh my god."

"What are you okay?!" Vanessa frantically asked me.

It felt like my heart stopped and then started beating a million times faster all at one time.

I rushed to the window with tears in my eyes, "Austin." I whisper breathlessly when I open the window, "your here."
