"Can you get on this bed for me?" Sebastian asked. He pointed to a hospital bed.
"No." I said. Sebastian sighed. He walked over to me. I tensed up. I got ready to punch him as he came closer.
"Don't get all worked up. I'm not trying to do anything." he said, seeing how I tensed up.
"You think I trust you?" I said sarcastically. He sighed.
"I don't see why you would. I haven't done anything to earn your trust.
"Kayla," Ash said, coming forward. I held my arm up.
"If you take one step closer I'll punch myself." I said, curling my hand into a fist.
"Why are you so damn stubborn!" he said, raising his voice. This was the second time today. I could tell my face was getting red. I felt a tear run down my cheek. Ash came to hug me, but I backed up in the chair, scooching away from him. He looked hurt, then guilty.
"Kayla, I'm sorry." he said. I felt another tear falling from my down my face. I covered my ears and curled up into a ball. I felt him touch me and I flinched.
"Why did I trust you?" I said, while crying. Ash said nothing. "All you doctors are the same! You heartless jerks!"
"Kayla, we just want to help." Ash said.
"Stop acting like you care!" I mumbled.
"I do care." he replied.
"I said stop! Stop acting like you know me! Stop acting like you're one of my brothers! I don't care if you live with us, you will never be a brother to me!" I shouted. Ash left the room.
Sebastian lifted me onto the bed. He wheeled it to the OR. I didn't resist. I was too upset. He put me on the operation bed, then he put a mask over my mouth. He got a needle. A tear ran down my face as he injected something into me. I got sleepy, everything got blurry.
"I'm sorry baby girl." Sebastian said as he faded away. Then, I fell asleep.

I woke up in the same room. Nobody was there except Sebastian. I stared crying. He took the mask off.
"What's wrong?" he asked softly.
"Nobody came. Nobody cares." I said, crying.
"I'm sorry." he said sympathetically. He walked outside the room. I heard him yelling.
"She's in there crying because none of you cared to be there when she woke up!" he yelled. I cried hard. Sebastian came back in the room. He lifted my chin, then wiped a tear off my cheek. Ash, Noah, and Theo came in. Theo and Noah hugged me. Ash stood in the doorway looking guilty and sad.
"She'll have to stay here tonight." Sebastian said, emotionless. Theo nodded. I cried into his shoulder.
"Why weren't you here?" I asked crying. Theo started crying too.
"I'm so sorry Kayla." he said through his tears. I kept crying.
"You weren't even here before the surgery." I said quietly.
"I know, I'm sorry." he said. I sat up. Ash was still in the doorway, staring at the ground. Sebastian handed me a glass of water and a pill.
"Take this, it's a pain killer." he said. I took the pill.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"6:32" he said.
"I wanna go to bed." I mumbled. Sebastian wheeled the bed into room with a hospital bed. He put me on the bed.
"Goodnight. Get some rest, sweet dreams Kayla." he said gently. I slowly fell asleep.
