I looked at my legs to see how bad it was. There was a lot of blood. I knew I couldn't hide this from my brothers and Ash, but I was still going to try. I got a damp towel and clean up the blood, but more just came. I put the towel on my leg and held it there so it would stop bleeding. It did . . eventually.

I went upstairs and put on pants and a long sleeve shirt to cover everything. I went to my room and searched Netflix for a new show to watch. I spent an hour or two watching Steven Universe. I fell asleep while watching it. I woke up to Ash calling me from downstairs. I went downstairs, forgetting what had happened. He was standing in the kitchen. I remembered what happened. I had forgotten to clean the water spill, the broken glass, and the blood that went onto the floor.

"Why is there glass and blood on the floor!?" he shouted. I flinched at his tone.

"I'm not trying to scare you. Tell me what happened!" he said sternly. I stood there for a second. Then I bolted upstairs into my room and under the bed.

"Hey!" he yelled as he ran after me. I could here him walk into my room.

"I know you're in here!" he said. I heard him swing the closet open roughly. He took a deep breath.

"I'm not mad, I just want to know if you're ok." he said calmly. I didn't move, I was scared. He looked in the bathroom. I saw his shoes right in front of the bed. He bent down and saw me under the bed.

"AHA! I found you!" he said loudly. He dragged me out from under the bed. There was blood on my pants and the carpet. I hoped he would notice.

"Kayla, is that blood on your pants and carpet?" he asked.

"N-no . . . it's ketchup" I lied.

"Nice try." he said. He sat on my bed and dragged me on it too.

"Pull up you're leg sleeve." he directed.

"No!" I yelled. He frowned at me. He grabbed my leg and pulled up the sleeve of my pants. The cuts were bigger than I thought they were.

"Why didn't you tell me!?" he asked. I started crying.

"Why are you yelling?" I asked quietly, crying. His expression softened. I heard the door open.

"Were home." I heard Theo and Noah say from downstairs. I gasped, then I ran into my closet.

"Why are you hiding from us?" Ash asked. I heard Theo and Noah come in.

"Ash, why is there glass and blood in the kitchen!?" they said. Ash opened the closet door. They all looked shocked. I started crying again.

"What happened Kayla?" Theo said gently as he came closer.

"I tried to talk some sense into her but she won't listen!" Ash said. Suddenly, a wave of anger rushed over me.

"Every time Ash! I give you a chance! Every time! Yet every single time, you somehow manage to lose my trust! I hate you! This was your last chance!" I screamed at Ash. He looked shocked.

"What the hell did you do Ash!?" Noah yelled.

"Calm down you two, you're scaring Kayla." Theo said. They both stopped yelling. They were all silent for a bit. I looked down, I was still bleeding. Theo, Noah, and Ash looked at me, shocked and concerned.

"Theo pick her up, I'll get the key's we gotta go!" Noah said. Theo picked me up and brought me downstairs.

"What are you idiots doing?!" I tried to yell but it came out quiet. Everything started getting blurry.

"She's getting really pale! Hurry!" I heard before I blacked out.
