I woke up in the bed. I must have fallen asleep. Sebastian walked in. "I see you're finally awake." he said.

"Where is Ash and Noah?" I asked anxiously.

"They went home." he replied. "They'll be here soon, don't worry." he said in a calm voice. I felt pain all throughout my body again. I squeezed my eyes shut.

"The pain meds must've worn off." he said. He grabbed the syringe. "Are you going to cooperate this time?" he asked. I frowned at him.

"Get away from me!" I screamed. He backed away, still holding the syringe. I saw the tray of medical tools next to me. I grabbed the scalpel.

"Drop it!" I said. Sebastian slowly put down the needle.

"You need to calm down, Kayla." he said.

"You need to back off!" I yelled. Just then, Ash and Noah came in. Both of their jaws dropped when they saw us. Ash started walking towards me.

"Take another step! I dare you!" I shouted. Ash stopped.

"Kayla put it down now!" Noah yelled.

"Don't talk to me like that!" I yelled back at him. I started having a panic attack, the scalpel still in my hand. Ash came closer.

"I know this is a lot for you." he said gently.

"I-I-I don't w-want to!" I stuttered. Ash hugged me. "It's gonna be ok." he said. I started to calm down. Then Ash accidentally brushed up against the scalpel. He winced. I could see the blood on his scrubs. My jaw dropped, so did the scalpel. I started crying super hard. My panic attack was getting worse by the second.

"Hey, it's ok. It was an accident." Ash said.

"No! No! It's not ok! I hurt you!" I screamed. I lifted my hand to slap myself. Just before my hand hit my face, Ash grabbed it. He lifted my chin so that I was looking into his eyes.

"You didn't mean to. It's ok." he said once again. I picked up the scalpel off the floor. Ash backed away.

"I hurt you, so it's my turn now." I said.

"No Kayla don't!" he shouted. I stabbed myself in the side with the scalpel. Ash, Noah, and Sebastian all ran to my side. I dropped the scalpel again. There was blood dripping on the chair.

"Kayla, why'd you do that?" Sebastian asked urgently.

"Because I deserved it!" I said.

"No you didn't!" he argued. Ash grabbed a white cloth and a roll of bandage. He held the cloth to the puncture, then wrapped the bandage around my side.

"You are never to do that again!" Ash yelled. That was the first time he had ever raised his voice at me. I started crying.

"Look at what I did to you!" I shouted while crying.

"I only have a scratch. You have a stab wound in your side!" he said, trying to calm himself down. Ash hugged me, avoiding the wound. I finally stopped crying.

"I-I'm sorry Ash." I said into his shoulder.

"It's ok, you're ok." he said gently. I felt something rubbing against my arm. Then I felt a needle go into it. The pain melted away.

I looked at Sebastian, he was holding an empty syringe. He grabbed a band aid and put it on my arm.

"Sorry, I know you wouldn't let me if you knew." he said in a silly way.  I frowned at him. "I guess I read the room wrong." he said.

"Ya! You think!" I said.

"It's time for you're surgery now." Sebastian said as he moved the tray to the other side of the room.  I moaned.

"You wont feel a thing, I promise." Sebastian said. "Oh and i'll probably end up giving you stitches on the stab wound you made." he continued.
