I woke up slowly. Light poured into my eyes.

"Good morning sweetheart." I heard someone say quietly. I opened my eyes, they were all next to the bed I was in. Theo hugged me, I winced.

"I'm sorry baby." he said. I hugged him back, then I looked at Noah. Noah smiled, he hugged me, avoiding my leg. I looked at Sebastian. He came and hugged me too.

"What about me?" Ash said, smirking.

I frowned. "Why would you want a hug from me? I'm just a stubborn brat aren't I!?" I yelled. Ash sighed.

"Kayla, please don't raise your voice. I'm sorry for what I said." He said. I scoffed. He grinned, then he came and hugged me tight. I tried to get out. I wiggled and squirmed but I couldn't get out of his arms. Ash's arm hit my leg. I screamed in pain. He stepped back looking concerned. I was crying.

"Ash you have to be more careful!" Noah said sternly.

"I'm sorry Kayla." he said gently. I kept crying, it still hurt. Sebastian looked at me sympathetically.
"We can't give you more pain meds. Not for another 2 hours." he said softly. I continued to cry. He left the room and signaled for Noah and Ash to come. I heard them talking.

"She needs an IV." Sebastian said. I gasped.

"You know it's not gonna go in easy." Ash protested. Sebastian sighed.

"I know. She's going to put up a fight." he said. They came back into the room. I glared at them.

"Shit, she heard us!" Ash said. "Please Kayla. I don't want the same the to happen again."
Noah left the room. I pouted.

"This is for your own good, Kayla." Ash said.

"I don't want to hear it!" I yelled. Noah came back in the room with an IV. My jaw dropped at the sight of it.

"Get the hell away from me!" I screamed. Noah and Ash sighed.

I knew what would happen. One of them would hold me down while the other put the IV in. Ash hugged me.

"I know it's scary Kayla. It's gonna be ok." Ash said. I was surprised.

"So you're not gonna pin me down?" I said confused. Ash smiled.

"No." he said. Ash got down on his knees. "Please oh please Kayla!" he said dramatically. I giggled.

"Ok." I said.

"How do you do it Ash?" Noah joked. Ash grabbed the IV needle. I closed my eyes. He put it in my arm. I started crying. Ash hugged me.

"I know it hurts. I'm sorry. It'll be better soon." Ash said softly.

"She can go home tomorrow so long as she doesn't run out into the street and get hit by a car again." Sebastian said. I smiled. He grinned back at me.

Ash came to hug me again. He winced. I flinched.

"What did I do?" I said scared. I covered my face with hands. Ash gently took my hands off my face.

"Look at me. It's ok. I'm ok." he said gently. I calmed down.

"Ash, are you mad at me?" I asked.

"No. Why would I be?" he replied. I shrugged.

"I'm sorry about what I said to you, Ash." I said.

"Don't worry about it." he said, smiling. I sighed.

"Hey, why are you so sad?" Ash asked sincerely. I shrugged. "Is there any sooner time she can go home Sebastian?" Ash asked Sebastian.

"Well I suppose since the two of you are doctors, she can go home today but you better keep an eye on her." Sebastian said.  I smiled. Sebastian put me on a wheelchair and took me outside to the car with Ash, Noah, and Theo.

"Oh! I forgot something." Sebastian said before running back inside. He came out holding a pair of crutched. They lifted me into the back of the car and put the crutches next to me. Sebastian left and we drove back home.
