"What?" I said, shocked. My face turned red with anger, "You think you can just play with me whenever you want? You think that you can play with me feelings?! What's next? Theo's an alien? I'm just you're plaything aren't I? Aren't I?!"
"No I would never-"
"Oh yes you would! Ever since you stepped foot in the house, my life has been a living hell!" I screamed at him.
"You don't talk to adults that way! Apologize now!"
"You don't tell me what to do! This is my house! You're just a loser who can't get his own place to live! Why couldn't you move into your mom's basement!? You're a curse! A bad omen!"
"You're a greedy brat! Do you know how much I've done for you?! How many time's I helped you!" he yelled.
"I never asked for you're help! I never asked to be here! I never asked to be born! But here I am! Here I am with you! The definition of a bully!" I yelled.
"I wish I had never come to this house! I wish I had never met you!" he yelled back at me. I stared at him, trying not to look hurt, doing my best to hold my emotions in. He stared back at me angrily. A tear slipped down my face, though I was trying so hard to keep them in. At that moment, Ash realized what he just said, his expression turned from angry to guilty and regretful.
"Kayla I-" he said before I cut him off.
"Get out." I said. He sat there, he looked shocked. Something snapped inside of me. Tears flooded out of my eyes. It was like a wall to a dam had been broken. "Get out!" I screamed.
Ash stood up. He walked out and closed the door behind him. I just sat there in my bed, crying. I thought about what he had said, 'I wish I never met you.'
I heard yelling downstairs. "You told her! I said not to!" one of them said. "She thinks I was lying to make her feel bad." I assume Ash said. Was what he had said true? Did I have another brother.
All night I sat in bed awake, thinking about what Ash said. If I had another brother, why didn't they tell me, I had the right to know. I wondered what he looked like, or what job he had. I prayed that if he was real, that he wasn't some sort of doctor like the rest of my brothers.
