Chapter 18: Things Begin to Esculate

Last night I celebrated my birthday with a party. In the morning the next day, we were all tired, I slept on the Gryffindor sofa as everyone else either was on their beds or on the floor because they were too exhausted.

That party....it was really good. From now on I'm going to celebrate like this for every birthday of mine.

Well guess it is time to get up!

I tried to sit up but felt some sort of weight on me, my eyes were still blurry so I let them adjust for a moment. Once I could see clearly, I looked and saw that it was Hermione who was on top of me.

She was sleeping peacefully so I shook her awake.

Blue: Hermione, hey wake up

Hermione: W-What?

Hermione's eyes slowly opened and she blinked a few times, then she realised where she was. Her face goes red and she quickly sits up but didn't get off me.

Hermione: B-Blue I'm s-s-sorry!

I bring her closer to me and wrap my arms around her, I was too tired to get up anyways.

Blue: It's fine Hermione, you feel nice to sleep with

Hermione didn't object, instead she relaxed into to the hug. She felt so warm to hug and I wouldn't mind sleeping with her again. Her head was just below my neck and it looked as if we were going to fall asleep again.

Hermione: How was the party?

Blue: It was great, thank you Hermione for making it happen. I'm actually excited for next year

Hermione: That's good....are you sure you don't mind me here?

Blue: Of course not, you're my friend. Anyways I should get ready for my lessons. I don't want Professor Burbage to bonk me on the head again.

Hermione: Okay, let me just get up

Hermione gets off me and says goodbye as I leave the common room. I stretch for a bit and then started the day with some lessons. When they all ended, I got really excited when I noticed what was next.

Blue: Qudditch! Yes!

It was going to be Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff so I went down to the field with Harry and Ron. Hermione wasn't anywhere to be seen which surprised me, was she already here?

Blue: Have you seen Hermione?

Harry: No, do you think she forgot?

Ron: That doesn't sound like her

When we arrived at the pitch, we saw the teams on the pitch but also Professor Mcgonagall which was concerning. Did something happen?

Oliver: Professor Mcgonagall what's wrong?

Mcgonagall: I'm sorry Oliver but the match is cancelled

Blue: What?!

Oliver: What?! You can't cancel Qudditch!

Blue: It's the Universal Law!

Mcgonagall: I can Mr Wood and would like everyone to leave! Ah Professor Light, Mr Potter and Mr Weasley.

Harry: Professor, why is the game cancelled?

Ron: There must be a reason!

Blue: There is a reason right?

Professor Mcgonagall gave us a sad look, she seemed really sympathetic.....oh no....did something happen?

Mcgonagall: Can the three of you follow me? I think you would want to see this
