Lupin: The Minister is coming?

Lupin and Tonks quickly run off which surprised me, was something up? Was Scrimgeour a terrorist? Soon Scrimgeour appears and he looks around before his eyes go onto mine.

Scrimgeour: Professor Light

Blue: Ay, what's going on Scrimgeour?

Scrimgeour: It's good to see you alive, I wish to talk to you, Mr Potter, Mr Weasley and Miss Granger....alone

Hermione: Alone?

Scrimgeour: Don't worry, you're not in trouble, we need to talk

Blue: I know it's not been working out between us but you've got to give me one more chance, I can prove myself!

The Trio: The Hell?!

Scrimgeour: [Sighs] It's good to see that your comedy still lives on. Now, follow me

The four of us follow the new Minister of Magic as he heads into the sitting room. I could see that the trio were worried, wondering who could have told Scrimgeour that they were not coming back to school.

Blue: Calm down you three, Scrimgeour is a chill guy, he isn't going to execute you at the back of the Burrow like a war criminal

Hermione: That's....oddly specific

Blue: Crouch Jr thought the same

Scrimgeour tries to separate us out so he can talk to us individually, but Harry insists that they stay together, something Scrimgeour wasn't on board with. He looks over at me and I just nod my head to tell him to allow them to be together so he allows it.

Scrimgeour: Now you may be wondering why I am here to see you, it's about Dumbledore’s will

Harry: Dumbledore had a will?

Scrimgeour: Yes, I'm surprised that none of you know you were left something by him

Harry: Why has it taken so long for us to be told?

Hermione: It's because they've been examining all the items he left to us!

Blue: Hah, maybe Dumbledore wanted to take the four of us down with him, if he dies, we go with him

Scrimgeour: Don't be alarmed, we only wanted to know what he left you in case they weren't safe.

Hermione takes him to task for it, Scrimgeour insists that the law supports his actions to which Hermione schools him on the law in question, pointing out that it’s meant for Dark artifacts.

She also points out that the Ministry would need powerful evidence to suggest that the items were dangerous. Scrimgeour asks Hermione if she’s planning a career in Magical Law, but she tells him she only means to do good in the world.

Harry: Wait, why are you handing over the objects now?

Hermione: They only get 31 days to prove that they’re dangerous, so it looks like time was up.

Scrimgeour: Ron Weasley, were you close to Dumbledore?

Ron: Erm, we weren’t really that close....n-no no wait-!

Scrimgeour: Is that so? Why would Albus Dumbledore give something to you when you barely knew the headmaster, especially since he gave out very few things in his will, the majority of his possessions were left to Hogwarts.

Blue: Well, you never know, he might've seen something in Ron that got his respect to have one of his possessions?

Hermione: Professor Dumbledore was fond of Ron
