Chapter 15

Atlas

She looked beautiful even when she ate. Her hands were messy and she had food around her mouth I gave her a tissue which she thanked me for. "I hope you plan to stay here long son we've got a lot of catching up to do" I only nodded at his words.
Manny and Anisah were my main priority I have to make sure they're both safe. His eyes were cast down during dinner I wanted to badly take him away, but every time Anisah would do anything it bought a smile to his face. I could tell he was very fond of her, she was a breath of fresh air and it's what my little brother needed. its what all of us need if I'm being honest.

That's right everyone needs a clumsy Anisah she kept dropping her utensils and the maids were replacing them every 10 minutes. She spilled her drink on her clothes as well and I had to help her clean her hands which were too sticky. It was like looking after a child.
She looked up at me while I cleaned her dress. Fuck me those big brown eyes will be the death of me.  Zion was fond of her but I had my doubts, he's charming and has great luck with women he's never been rejected ,and I know he likes her from the way he keeps glancing at her looking down with a smile.

We all grew up together, Zions parents were killed in a car accident until my father took him in and decided to bring him home from a trip in Korea. Roman and Bear were also fond of her, Noah was just a prick, always has been since the death of his sister he's never been the same. "I never knew you were into dark skin girls Atlas" of course my little bitch of a sister has to ruin everything. "You don't know me Nia now stop speaking" she scowled at me. "I'm just saying you could do better" before I could throw my knife at her. Arthur interrupted, "that's enough Nia don't make me send you downstairs".
Nia's face pales I did feel bad for her but she proved her loyalty to our father other wise I would've taken her away from this place.
Her focus turned to manny and my I clenched my fist. Since we were little Manny had been the weaker out of us three therefore the perfect little boy for dad to beat whenever he felt like it.
"What about you Emanuel, any lover in your life?"
He kept his gaze down "no"
Nia the witch giggled.
"Surely your life isn't that boring" if she wanted to press everyone's buttons I will too. I try not to talk to her as much because she's so annoying but sometimes you just have to put a bitch in her place. "what happened to your boyfriend, ah yes Andrew how come he's not here" Andrew was her boyfriend but he went missing a while ago.

the smirk on her face was quickly replaced by a scowl she folded her arms and sulked down in her seat while Arthur just sighed. "can you two stop arguing for once"

"he started it", nobody said a word I'm surprised Anisah didn't laugh at the childish behaviour but when I looked back at her she was still eating.  Dinner carried on and everyone minded there own business.

"come to my office son I need to speak to you" Arthur sighed before leaving while everyone else went to their room  here we go again. "go to bed I will come up in a bit do you remember your way" Anisah nodded before leaving. I would rather be with her right now but duties call unfortunately.

I walked through the familiar haunting corridor to his office, memories from my childhood washed over me the nostalgic feeling was disgusting I felt sick being here, the walls were empty no family pictures anywhere just emptiness , the quicker I knew what he wanted the quicker I could get the fuck out of this shit place.

before I could even take a seat he spoke up, "she is a very lovely girl, but you know I do not approve of outsiders son" couldn't he wait until I sat down, did he really think I gave a fuck?

"what would you like me to do, Anisah is staying with me if you like it or not" he sighed before actually looking at me "this family is built on wealth a commoner like her has nothing to do with us, I know everything Atlas" i was fuming at this point, "you don't know shit and don't ever speak about her that way.

"this is very bad for business, Anisah Shari 20 years old her parents don't like, her siblings don't like her why are you around this bitch we have a reputation, i will not let my son ruin what I have made, from what I know you took her from her home and nobody has even gone to the police looking for her, "

oh Arthur why is your heart so closed.  I had enough I got up to leave before he spoke again.

"you may be a grown man, but you have many weaknesses, as my successor it cannot be allowed be careful boy" this was a warning i was familiar with, since I was a child everything I grew attached to he got rid of including my mother.

Growing up I didn't have much friends but we had a family dog, he was a German Sheppard called Benny, I always used to get nightmares and Benny would lay next to me, I was only 11 when Arthur made me shoot him. "to be a man you must be able to eliminate all ties" those were his words while Benny whined and wittered on the floor his beautiful fur turning dark red.

Walking back to my old bedroom I heard shuffling from the bathroom before Anisah came out wearing a fuzzy pyjama set with ducks all over them, she is so cute. "are you okay you look constipated" she went and sat on the bed. he called her a bitch. she's actually an angel.

"Atlas hello?" he called her a commoner, "oh my god are you having a seizure" but she is in fact the most amazing women in the world. "i hate him" she looked surprised with my out burst. "come sit next to me and tell me who you hate" i did as she said we both sat next to each other. "my father, I hate him"  she nodded her head "i hate mine too"

she never talked about her family. "what do you mean?" she sat backwards and gazed upwards to me her big eyes stared into mine, I never want her gaze to leave mine. " its a long story but i will tell you this, my parents are very strict and they expect perfection from me and as you can see I'm far from that so after I decided to not study medicine my parents burned all of my books and stopped speaking to me and my older siblings wanted nothing to do with me so i eventually left, its hard living with your family when they treat you like a ghost". her eyes watered "i really thought that they would try to get me back but no i mean nothing to them" i wrapped my arms around and pulled her close to me. "look at me Anisah" she looked up and fuck me, she's a pretty crier.

she quickly sat up and wiped her tears away "but its fine I like you guys better so its fine, seriously everything is fine". I think everything is fine. she's so funny.

"come here you idiot", she pulled herself away from me before sitting next to me but that's not what I meant. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. her hair was in a low braid but some pieces framed her face and she looked beautiful I tucked them behind her ear and then she pulled them back out. "don't do that" I wanted to see her face which her hair was covering. she licked her lips and I wanted nothing more them to kiss her. "Anisah" she hummed in response. "can i kiss you?" her gaze slowly lifted to meet my eyes before my lips and then she slowly nodded.

i leaned in and pressed my lips to hers, pure bliss we moulded into one and my heart was beating faster and faster. she kissed me back and was now straddling me I grabbed the back of her head and deepened the kiss, she's my girl and i wont let anyone hurt her. I pulled away and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead "you are so precious to me" with that I laid down and tucked her into my arms. she cuddled into my chest and I could see a small smile on her face.
