"we have a crisis-"

"We can't have a crisis, my schedule is already full"

It was a cold January afternoon, the sky was cloudy indicating that it might rain soon
Aaron gulped, hugging his sweater closer trying to preserve the little warmth it provided. He desperately wished he was at home at the moment, maybe enjoying a cup of tea under the blankets reading whatever book was next on his shelf, instead he found himself holding the small hand of a 5 year old toddler.

"Look, i know i promised to watch him but i REALLY need you to come right now asap"

"Aaron, I'm in the middle of a meeting at the moment, so unless something happened to my kid or you're dying then I'm gonna hang up-"

"We've been arrested "

Ace really didn't have the patience to deal with his friend, he have promised him that he would babysit Axel for the day since he had a very important meeting with another company to discuss a possible collaboration between the two, and his wife having a a long shift at the hospital. The last thing he needed was Aaron whining on how he wasn't good with children, which in some way was true, but he knew he was good enough to atleast keep him alive

But this-
He was not expecting this.

"What the fuck do you mean you got arrested?"

"Hey no need to get mad-"

"Where's my kid?"

"Chill he's right here with me, he didn't wanna let me go so they didn't put me in a cell thankfully, now I'm chilling in the chief's office"
Aaron winked at the head of the police department, who glared at him in return
He does not get paid enough for this-

"I gave you one job, ONE job. How did you manage to mess it up" Ace seethed, it was more of a statement than a question honestly

"You were the one who sent me to that, that-
What's the word for that small infestation of little creatures?"

"..those are children, and that's a school "

"Yes! And apparently it is illegal to kick them"

"Aaron tell me you did not kick a child"

"Oh bleive me what i kicked was anything but a child"

Ace ran a hand through his hair trying to take deep breaths to not snap on his friend, he was with a kid after all and didn't wanna scare him knowing his raging voice would be well heard through the phone even if it wasn't on speaker, but he was making it REALLY difficult

"I panicked alright, they were everywhere. screaming, laughing, running in every possible direction what was i suppose to do?!"

"I'm on my way, and when i get there, I'm gonna kick your ass" and with that he hang up.

Aaron stared at the screen for a moment, a blank look on his face while sweat dropped slowly down his face. He turned and looked at the chief giving him the best, most innocent smile he could master

"So about that cell-"
