Chip N Dale Brotherly One Shots

Dale's in trouble

A/N this is part three to what if Chip betrayed Dale.

Chip looked at the phone as it buzzed he wasn't sure wether he should let the phone ring or pick it up on one hand if he didn't pick it up he could avoid the guilty feeling he had every time Dale's name was brought up or he could answer it and apologize to his little brother.

Chip huffed before answering the phone "so after all these years you finally decided to call me why is that Dale?" Chip asked trying to hide the sadness in his voice and replacing it was anger instead.

However, Chip's anger went away once he heard a quiet sob coming from the other side of the phone.

"Dale is everything alright?" Chip asked feeling worried for his little brother.

"No everything isn't ok do you really think I'd be calling you if everything was alright?" Dale said anger in his voice Chip was about to hang up when he heard Dale's voice again "I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you I just have a lot going on right now and I could really use you're help Chipper." Dale said in a quiet voice that Chip almost didn't hear him.

"What's going on Dale?" Chip asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Look I can't really talk about this over the phone could you possibly come over to my place? I'll text you the address." Dale said before Chip even got a chance to respond Dale hung up and five minutes later a text message showed up on Chip's phone with Dale's address.

Chip didn't know what to do while he wanted to help his brother he didn't want to go over there knowing that his little brother hated him for what he had done but on the other hand his little brother was asking for his help so Chip decided to go and speak to his little brother and hopefully he could help Dale with whatever trouble he had gotten himself into.

Thirty minutes later Chip finally arrived at Dale's place he was now at the front door with his paw ready to knock at the door but he was hesitating to do so.

after standing there and debating on whether or not to knock Chip finally knocked on the door and was surprised when Dale grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him inside.

Once inside Chip looked up at his little brother and frowned when he noticed Dale had been crying. "Dale what's going on?" Chip asked with a worried look on his face.

Dale wasn't looking at Chip instead he was looking down at the ground "you know about my new tv show right?"

"Yeah I do, if you called me over here just to talk about that dumb show then I'll-" Chip was cut off before he could finish his sentence.

"No, that's not why I called you, listen Chipper the only reason I was able to get that show in the first place was because the valley gang helped me." Dale said looking up at Chip and Chip could see the fear in his little brothers eyes.

Chip's eyes widen at the mention of the valley gang "Dale those guys are bad news!" Chip said in a stern voice.

"I know! and now I owe them a ton of money and If can't pay them they're gonna bootleg me!" Dale said in a scared voice.

Chip looked at Dale with a confused look "bootleg you? What does that mean?" Chip asked.

"Remember that news story about how flounder went missing? Well rumors have said that he's now being forced to make bootlegged movies because he fell behind on krill payments. So if I don't pay the valley gang they're gonna bootleg me and force me to do bad movies!" Dale said with fear in his blue eyes.

Chip sighed while he wanted to help his little brother Chip didn't know what he could do to help him but then again Dale did make this mess on his own and Chip didn't want to take part in this Dale needed to clean up his own problems for once.

"I don't know if there's anything I can do to help you Dale, I wish there was but I don't know what you want me to do I can't get you out of this one. You made this mess on you're own so you gotta fix it yourself." Chip said and Chip saw the hurt look that flashed in Dales eyes which caused guilt to rise inside of Chip causing him to look at the ground so he wouldn't see the hurt look in his little brothers eyes.

Chip slowly started to make his way towards the door before Dale stopped him "if I could get myself out of this mess do you really think I would've called you? After everything you did to me I never wanted to see you're face again but I didn't have any other choice Chip." Dale said with his paw on Chip's shoulder.

Chip frowned and looked down at the ground unable to say anything it was quiet for a few minutes before Dale spoke up. "Look maybe this really was a bad idea I think you should leave Chip." Dale said pointing at the door.

Chip's frown deepened before he made his way towards the door and opened it but before he closed it he turned around "Dale, If you're really in trouble Call me or text me and I'll see if there's anything I can do." Chip said before closing the door behind him.
