Chip N Dale Brotherly One Shots

Christmas Trees

A/N this is my first time writing a holiday themed one shot let me know if I should write more.

"I can't believe it's finally Christmas! This'll be the first Christmas we've celebrated together in a long time Chipper!" Dale exclaimed in a chipper tone as he placed ornaments on the tree.

Chip smiled slightly and placed an ornament on the tree. "I know that Dale, I honestly never thought we'd get to celebrate our favorite holiday together again."

"Yeah neither did I Chip. I've really missed this." Dale said as he hung another ornament on the tree.

Chip smiled "well I think we got all the lights and ornaments on the tree now all we need is to put the angel topper on the tree." Chip said and stepped back to admire the Christmas tree.

Dale smiles widen as he went to grab the angel tree topper and held it gently with both paws.

"Alright Dale, you ready to place the angel  on top of the tree?" Chip asked

Dale nodded his head "are you sure you don't wanna do it this year Chipper?" Dale asked as he looked at Chip.

"No, bud I think you should do it." Chip said as he grabbed the ladder and positioned it for Dale to climb up. "Alright the ladders all set Dale." Chip said as he backed up a bit  from the ladder.

Dale nodded his head and handed Chip the angel topper while he climbed the ladder. Once Dale was high enough to reach the top Chip lifted his arms up and handed the angel topper to Dale.

"Be careful with it Dale remember it's glass so if you drop it it'll break." Chip said as Dale gently grabbed the tree topper with his paws.

"Yeah I know Chip I'll be careful." Dale said and he turned to face the tree.

Chip stood back and watched as Dale gently placed the angel topper on top of the tree. "Alright I think I've got it on there Chip." Dale said as he slowly lifted his paws away from the angel topper.

Dale climbed down the ladder and stood beside Chip. Since I placed the angel on the tree maybe you should turn the lights on Chip." Dale said as he looked at Chip.

Chip smiled slightly "are you sure? Cause I wouldn't mind it if you turned the lights on Dale." Chip said

Dale shook his head "No it's fine Chip I mean it's only fair since I hung up the angel topper you should be the one to turn on the Christmas tree lights." Dale said

Chip grabbed the electrical cord for the Christmas tree and plugged it into the outlet. Chip backed away from the Christmas tree and stood beside Dale.

After looking at the Christmas tree for a few minutes Chip looked at Dale "how about we watch a Christmas movie and make some hot chocolate?" Chip asked and smiled when he noticed Dale's tail began to wag.

"I'll take that as a yes." Chip said with a chuckle as he made his way into the kitchen to make hot chocolate and Dale was following Closely behind Chip.

Chip and Dale sat down and began to discuss what Christmas movie to watch. "Hey how about we watch Elf?" Dale suggested and then took a sip of his hot chocolate.

"Sure why not." Chip said and began to search for the movie Elf.

Once Chip found it he pressed play and so the two Chipmunks sat there and watched a Christmas movie eventually the movie came to an end and the two Chipmunks ended up calling it a night and headed to bed.
