Our Shallow Past

From The Corner of our hearts

Doctor was scanning through the girls reports.
And on the other hand Arjun's heart was filled with anxiety. Doctor looked at him . This made Arjun more nervous. But slowly a smile grew on doctors face. "She is fine now you can take her today it self." He said. Arjun smiled with relief but suddenly it struck him that she is someone unknown to her.

He went in her room and said " Go and change you can go now." He said . She smiled and quickly changed into her casual clothes.

They were in the car driving through the roads. She was happy as she will go to his house. She had slowly started to have a crush on him, on his handsome face and also because he had saved her. Just then he stopped the car. "Oh so we reached." she thought . But just when she got out and saw where they were actually . It was a shelter home . She looked at him . He held her hand and took her in.

"Here . Till you regain your memory stay here." He said and went away without even turning back......

He came out from bathroom with towel around his neck and wet hair. He then literally threw him self on the sofa and closed his eyes. Suddenly an image appeared of a girl. It was a same girl from before but..her hair style was different. Oh yes! they were short . But hers were mid length. And suddenly his head started to experience a sharp pain. "AHHHH!!" He shouted. Suddenly a thought struck into his head.

He took out his car and ran it as fast as he could. Probably more faster than before (where he was chased by police.) He made a sharp break in front of the shelter home where he had left the girl. He ran in, to see the girl sitting in the corner bench with eyes swollen due to crying for so long . Just then she got a glance of Arjun . "I ..... I ....am ..I" He was out of words . Slowly a smile grew on her face and she ran towards him and hugged him tight. " I don't know why but deep inside my heart I had a hope. Hope that you will come and take me with you." She said. Slowly his hands came up to hug her and console her. Foe some reason he felt her hug really warm and comfortable...

He opened the door and switched on the lights as it was already dark. It was a huge hall more or less like a mansion. "Woah.. your house is huge." She said with an impressed tone. But it looked as if no one was there. "Has everyone gone outside?" She asked . He looked at her with the same cold expression as before and replied." I leave here with my friend Jai." She nodded and went in further to take a quick scan of his house. "The house is really luxurious. What work must he do?" She thought. "There, you will sleep in my room. I will sleep here on the sofa." He explained. She nodded and went in. "But...." she turned "I don't have my cloths" she said. He thought for a while and suddenly it struck his head. "Wear my cloths then" he suggested. She looked at his large height and slight muscular body and then at hers. "Will you cloths fit me?" She asked. "Lets just try. We can buy new cloths tomorrow." He said

He was sitting on his sofa, talking on the call with Jai. "I will have to be under cover for some days, but I am safe" Jai said. "Even I am safe but, I am with a girl now" he replied. "Ohh a girl. All alone . Enjoy my friend. " Jai said with a teasing voice. "Whatever. Also she is not that beautiful." He was going to say something when she came in wearing his oversized shirt and shorts. His heart skipped a beat . "She looks so attractive." A voice deep inside him said. He nodded and snapped out from it. "How does it look?" She asked. "You look ok" he said with an cold voice trying to control his inner consciousness which was screaming out loud saying she looked... speechlessly beautiful. "Ok then good night." She said and went inside closing the door behind her. He was just an inch away to stop her from going inside when Suddenly he snapped out. "Why did I tried to stop her ?" He asked him self.

She was just behind the door, blushing hard. "The way he looked at me." She thought and blushed more hard.
