' Caleb genuinely needed help with getting ideas for his Literature assignment. Not that Caleb was upset, he loves spending time with Vena. He needed help with Literature since his professor scolded him for not getting an assignment right. So, Vena being a natural at Literature, helped him with the assignment. Vena was in his room, looking at what he needed help with.
"Okay, it'll be super easy to help you with," She says. Vena walks him through the questions and task. He answers the questions and got every answer right.
"You did it Caleb!" Vena says excitedly.
"Thank you, V," He says. They get up from the floor and she pulls him into a long hug. After a while, they pull away from each other, but hold eye contact. Feeling confident with himself, he starts to lean in towards Vena. Vena finds herself doing the same. Their lips connect and its one of the most amazing feelings to both of them. It wasn't short, but it also wasn't a super long kiss. Vena pulls away and smiles at him.
"Wow," He breathes out. Vena rolled her eyes at his remark, but had a large grin etched on her face. Honestly, instead of feeling awkward, it felt like a weight lifted off both of their shoulders. And they were both happy it was their first kiss, and hoped it wasn't the last.
"Let's go watch a film, yeah?" Alexander asks.
"Ok," Vena replies. Caleb and Isadora sit down on the couch. Vena gets comfortable and rest her head on his shoulder. Caleb smirks down at her.
"Am I your new pillow?" Caleb joked. Vena can't help but laugh at the joke.
"You might be," She jokes back. Caleb laughs.
"Comfortable?"
"Yes."
"Good," He replies, his attention back to the movie. '
Vena raked a hand through her straight, blonde hair as she exhaled. She remembered her relationship with Caleb. It all ended when he randomly approached Vena, telling her he had fallen out of love with her. She couldn't believe she lost her independence to him. From then on, she was her own person. She was her past, present and future. She remembered running to Emilia, who helped her get through the breakup.
' Emilia and Vena both used some hairbrushes they found laying around. Both of them screaming to their favourite song, as we danced crazily around Emilia's room. Count on your best friend to make you happy after your breakup. They both ended up in a fit of laughter, lying on the ground together. Emilia grabbed Vena's hand and pulled her out of the house, to the beach that Emilia's house rested in front of. Emilia splashed Vena, causing her to gasp. They weren't in their swimsuits... fuck it they thought. Vena splashed her back and Emilia glared playfully at her.
"He wasn't worth your time anyways," Emilia said as the two layed in the sand under the sun.
"I know, I honestly miss me more," Vena replied, "Not Caleb and I, me."
"That's the spirit!" Emilia exclaimed causing Vena laughed.
"Agreed," Vena smiled. '

Elora sat, tapping the table with her fingers. She waited patiently for Vena to finish getting dressed. Vena came out only a minute later.
"Finally! I've been waiting for hours!" Elora exclaimed dramatically.
"Oh please, it has only been fifteen minutes," Vena responded, rolling her eyes.
"Enough for me to die of boredom!" Elora whined.
"Do stop nagging," Vena replied, dusting off imaginary dust from her dress.
"Yes mum," Elora said sarcastically. Vena rolled her eyes, again.
"We better get going," Vena said.
"Have you any idea what we are supposed to do?"
"Not exactly, no."
"Therefore I ask you to wait."
"Fine," Vena said.
"Thank you," Elora replied. Elora opened the door and peaked outside. Once she made sure the coast was clear, she gestured for Vena to follow her. The two girls had a long road ahead of them. They had to ride into Telmar, sneak into the castle without getting caught, sneak into the library, 'borrow' a book, leave, all without getting caught. It was going to be very difficult, but they would do it. The two girls somehow managed to get horses, and use them for their little 'quest'. Vena didn't have any trouble with the horse. She remembered when she was younger, her father would take her and her sister out for a ride on a rented horse from a farm near by. The two girls were both scared of all the negative things that could happen. Trufflehunter was very reluctant about this, but he needed that book to confirm something. Something he couldn't tell the redheaded girl. Him, Trumpkin and Nikabrik all need it it, it was nearly impossible that they'd be able to get themselves. Elora was a very mischievous person, so they decided it was best for her to sneak in. Vena would just follow Elora's instructions. There were secrets that needed to be uncovered. It was urgent, it couldn't wait for a few more years.
