CHAPTER 7 (Together)

Jennie and Chaeyoung met the manager at the recording studio. She is talking to one of the producer in Yg entertainment. Jennie saw her and she greeted her.

"Good morning manager-nim. This is Park Chaeyoung. She's my bodyguard." Jennie causally said.

"Oh! The blonde woman who saved you. I see, I'm Jennie's manager. What should I call you? You can also call me manager-nim" The manger asked.

"You can call her Chaeyoung. Mr. Yang called her that." Jennie said.

"Okay Chaeyoung. Let's go straight to your work. You'll have to be beside Jennie all the time. She will have alot of schedules so you better be early and always prepared. Jennie was almost got kidnapped and thanks to you she was saved. I might not know you Chaeyoung but I hope and I trust you that Jennie's life is your priority. This job needs your full attention. So please watch and protect her." The manager said.

"I may not the most sincere person manager-nim but I will protect her. I won't disappoimt you manager-nim. I know you have taken care of Jennie for a long time. I will also take care of her." Chaeyoung said.

"I know you will. From the moment I saw you on that video, I know to myself, you're capable to protect Jennie." Then she faced Jennie "I'd already sent you your schedule for today. I'll follow if I'm done here. Chaeyoung will go with you. That would be all." After that she looked at the blonde "Well! Nice to meet you Chaeyoung. Give me your number. I had to also sent you Jennie's schedule." She said and the brunette raise her eyebrows. Hold a damn minute! Manager-nim never asked the bodyguards number but when it's Chaeyoung she quickly asked for it. She's using her manager card. No! I won't let you manager-nim!

"Yeah, Okay. Here's my n-Miss Kim! Why did you do that? Look at my phone. I've been using this for a long time." Chaeyoung said while fixing her phone.

"Is that your phone? Really? A keypad Chaeyoung? Do you live under the rock?" Jennie asked.

"It's still a phone Miss Kim. I can still call or text with this phone. I have to buy a "keypad" like this because I don't want to buy phone like yours. I'm not rich as you Miss Kim. Even this is a keypad, you don't have to smashed it like that." Chaeyoung coldly said while directly looking at Jennie.

The brunette felt shiver in her spine. She felt like Chaeyoung is mad. She never thought that Chaeyoung could act like that. Jennie looked at her apologetically.

"I'm sorry, I was about to get your phone but I accidentally snapped it from you. I'll buy you a new one." Jennie said and the blonde believe at her but she refuse to get a new phone.

"Thank you Miss Kim but I can do it myself. I've been deciding if I will buy a new phone. I guess it is the time." Chaeyoung said and slightly smile at Jennie. She bowed to Jennie's manager "I'll just wait you outside Miss Kim." Then she left.

"What was that Jennie? Why did you do that?" Her manager asked.

"It's none of your concern. I'll go now. Thank you manager-nim. See you later." Jennie coldly said. Jennie went out and she saw that Chaeyoung is waiting for her and she was leaning at the wall. Chaeyoung saw her and made her way to Jennie.

"Let's go Miss Kim. I'll just give you my number." Chaeyoung said.

The brunette was shocked and blushed. She look at the blonde. "Wh-at?" She stuttered.

"I'll give you my number so you could send it to manager-nim. She really cares for you Miss Kim" Chaeyoung said when Jennie started walking and she follow behind her.

"How can you say that?" Jennie asked.

"Because she have to get my number and know what's happening to you. I get it and I think your manager is a good person Miss Kim." Chaeyoung smiled again to Jennie.
