CHAPTER 24 (Truth)

Jennie woke up early and did her morning routine. When she's out of her room, she saw that the blonde was still sleeping and her hands are over her head while her feet doesn't fit on the couch. Jennie giggled inside when she saw how her hubby crouch so she can fit on the couch. Jennie went closer to Chaeyoung and sat on the floor. She was staring at Chaeyoung's face while she remembered what she saw on the night when Chaeyoung left their hotel room in Japan from one month ago.

Flashback

Jennie decided to follow Chaeyoung, she made sure that Chaeyoung will really meet her friend. Jennie wait outside while looking inside a restaurant. She didn't recognize the woman Chaeyoung was talking to. Jennie could see Chaeyoung's face and the woman turned her back on her so she could be see the woman. Base from her observation the woman may be 40 years old and above but still she looked sophisticated. She saw that the woman still looked young and Jennie got anxious on why would Chaeyoung meet someone like that.

"Who is she Jagi? Why does her posture seem familiar to me?" Jennie suddenly realized the woman her hubby talked to. She gasped when she remember the woman who destroyed her family. "Godmother? Is that you?" Jennie said while still looking far from them. She immediately leave the area as she was so afraid of the woman and the fact that her hubby was having a conversation to her.

After Jennie went back on their hotel she immediately called her father. Mr. Kim answered when he saw it's Jennie.

"Jennie? How was your vacation?" Her father happily asked. Jennie cried when she heard her father. The man realize that Jennie was crying. "Why are you crying princess? Did Chaeyoung make you cry? What happen?" Her father worriedly asked.

"No dad. Me and Chaeyoung were fine. I just missed you so much and I can't wait to bring you good news." Jennie said while still sobbing. Her father sighed and didn't asked more to Jennie.

"I really hope it's a good news princess. Anyway, enjoy your vacation with Chaeyoung. I have to go, I will attend a meeting." Her father said and hanged up on her.

Jennie decided to call her father's investigator and told him to confirm if it was really  Chaeyoung talking with her Godmother. Then after they arrive at Korea, Jennie found out that Chaeyoung is really talking to her and they where having a conversation about meeting Jennie. She realized that the woman was still crazy about her and Chaeyoung was helping the woman.

After what she found, Jennie became cold and distant to Chaeyoung but she was still inlove with her. She just want to ignore Chaeyoung for hiding something from her. She was so confused as why would Chaeyoung will talk and communicate to Jennie's Godmother? When she knew all along that the woman ruined her family.

Flashback ends

Jennie saw that Chaeyoung move and she saw a brunette was sitting on the floor who keep looking at her. Chaeyoung suddenly stood up and face Jennie.

"Do you need something wifey? I'll prepare your breakfast, wait me here." Chaeyoung said and decided to walk in the kitchen but Jennie stopped her.

"No. I don't want to eat Park Chaeyoung. Tell me everything you know so I can understand everything. I'm so confused Chaeng, I don't know why you keep meeting her and I found out you are still in contact with her." Jennie said and sat on the couch while Chaeyoung was standing. She hold Jennie's face and made Jennie looked up on her.

" I knew it. You already investigated me and your Godmother but everything you found out is just a beginning. Jennie you've already investigated about our connection but you didn't look on why we keep meeting each other. You could easily found it but your investigator keep giving you incomplete details." Chaeyoung said and sat beside Jennie.
