Mattholomule skids to a stop in front of us, panting. "I would've helped, but like- there was this- other baby in danger- you probably didn't see." I almost laugh. It's a terrible lie. "Mattholomule?" I try grab his attention. 

He looks up at me, before realizing who spoke and jumping back. "Augustus? Back off, twerp!" he says with a jutting finger pointed at me. "This operation is Glandus kids only." Technically, he's a Hexside student now, but I let it go.

"Hey, Matty, it's all cool." I smile at Bria for sticking up for me, then register the nickname and bite my lip holding in a grin. "Did you get the map?" Bria rocks excitedly on her feet.

Before I can react, Mattholomule- Matty, heh- interrupts, triumphantly holding up what I assume is the map. "Yes! And I only had to endure 35 noogies from my older brother." Huh. Didn't know Matty had a brother.. Hey, now that I think about it, there's a coven guard that looks a lot like him.

I watch the others crowd the map. I don't fit with them. I'd better just go back to Luz. This was stupid. "Well, I can see you guys are busy, so.." 

Bria frowns, and flips the map. "Wait. Have you ever heard of the Galdorstones?"
