It was a typical Thursday. I was sitting at the lunch table with my sister, the rest of the cheer squad and her boyfriend Jason. I felt like an outcast with them. My mom had always forced me to do things with Chrissy. Since we were younger I had to tag along all her dance practice, cheer practice and all her extra school activities. It wasn't until my freshman year of high school that my mom forced me to join.

I felt as if I lived in her shadow most of the time. It took half a year for the cheer squad to actually learn my name. I begged my mom for months to let me quit, but she claimed us Cunningham's weren't quitters.

I sat there picking at my food, I wanted to go home. I wasn't the biggest fan of school. I've picked up the habit of turning out the sounds of the same old conversation they have. They all were about cheer practice, or Chrissy, or Chrissy and Jason.

"Alex!" Chrissy snapped her fingers in my face. Bringing me back to focus.
"Huh?" I responded.

"Truth or dare?" Chrissy asked with a sinful smirk spread on her lips.
"Truth."

"Is it true you took twenty dollars out of moms purse this morning?" She laughed.
"No. That was you." I mumbled raising my brow towards her.

"But if they asked it was you right?"
"Sure." I sang sarcastically.

"Ok go." She demanded.
"Ok Jason uh truth or dare?" I asked waving my fork around.

"Truth." He responded.
"Is it true you're in love with my sister." I shook my head trying to think of the first thing to say. I was uninterested in this game but for some reason my sister Chrissy has been wanting to play it all the time.

"Truly madly and deeply." He sang brushing his nose against her cheek.
"Ok Alex. Truth or dare." Jason smiled.

"I just went."
"Do it!" Chrissy snapped.

"Fine. Dare." I felt bold.
"Ok." He smiled clapping his hands together, his eyes examined around the cafeteria.

"I dare you." His finger lingered in front of my face. "To ask the freak out on a date."

"What." My heart stopped.
"Oh my god that's good one!" Chrissy laughed.

"Oh my god that's good one!" Chrissy laughed

"You have one week to make him say yes." Jason felt confident in his dare, his body relaxed in to the chair, raising a brow towards me he baited me to see if I was up for the challenge.

"Ok." I mumbled. Tensions rose, I looked over and saw him. The freak. He was sitting where he normally does, in a cult like style with the rest of his group. His seat was always the same, at the head of the table. A couple months ago it was only him and few other students, but lately he had been growing a crowd. One of Jason's teammates sat with them for a while. But ultimately Jason has Lucas chose between a cult or basketball. In my eyes they seemed to be the same thing.
