*Eddie's POV*
- Flash back the party-
"Eddie-" I heard Alex's voice. I sat up wondering where she was. I saw her standing in the middle of the open doorframe.
Chrissy stood behind her, her hand was over her mouth trying to hold back a laugh. I felt my heart drop at the sight of her sad eyes. I had told Alex that I didn't trust them. This is actually what I didn't want to happen.
"Alex-" I tried to mumble. Pulling myself up from the bed Jamie's hand pushed me back down. My eyes were focused on Alex.
"Fuck you." She cried out. Pushing passed Chrissy I saw her flee the scene.
"Alex-Wait." I shouted.
My body jumped out of the bed, I tried to catch my feet. I barely made it to the door, but Jamie's hand latched on to my shoulder throwing me back in to the room. Chrissy slammed the door shut leaving her and I in the room alone. The last thing I saw was a sinful smile spread across her face.
"There!" I shouted. "You got what you wanted. What the fuck else do you want?" I asked.
"I just want to have some fun.." Her smirk made my skin crawl, I wanted to leave the room and run after her, Jamie's body guarded the door.
"Move" I shouted.
"No Eddie, we need to talk." She pleaded.
"Talk about what?" I laughed, "What could you and I possible talk about."
"About us..." She whispered leaning close to me, her cold hand pressed against my chest, I felt her fingertips press through the thin fabric of my shirt. Alcohol was still pumping through my blood, I felt the room spin slightly, my body swayed to the side...causing Jamie's hands to latch on to my shoulders.
"You keep saying this us shit. There is no us Jamie. Not anymore and after all this shit there never will be an us again." My fingers went back and forth, throwing my hands towards my face I wanted to scream out in frustration.
"But you know I touch you better than she ever will. I mean come on Eddie she's a virgin. unless you already got your way with her. Probably explains why she left crying like a little bitch." Her laugh filled the room, and also filled me with rage.
She stood closer to me, tilting her head to the side she fluttered her lashes at me.
"Stop" I mumbled.
"Are you sure?" She asked, her finger tips traced around my neck, with her index finger it twirled around the nap of neck.
"Yes-" I whispered.
Our eyes met, without relation, my hands were placed on her hips, bringing her closer to me. I had to stop myself, I leaned back at the sight of her lips parting.
"Why don't you want me?" She asked.
"Because you're not her." I whispered pushing her to the side.
I ran down the stares, pushing through crowds of people I ran out the front door. A gush a cold wind brushed against warm my face. I looked outside for any sight of Alex. The only thing I was able to see was a dark car heading down the street. I stood outside the house, throwing my hands towards my face in defeat. I sat down on the steps of the stairs, I felt my chest grow heavy at the thought of Alex. I wish I had gotten the chance to explain myself.
"Hey man, you good?" I looked over my shoulder and saw Steve standing behind me. He jumped down the step, sitting down next to me I adjusted my body.
"Yeah-I guess." I mumbled, I reached my hand into the pocket of my jacket. I found a lose cigarette, I looked around the font piece finding a lighter I stuck the cigarette between my teeth.
"Want some?" I asked handing it off to Steve.
"No, I'm good."
"So, where's Alex? I haven't seen her in a while." Steve asked cheerfully, a deep sigh fell from my chest as I tried to come up with an explanation.
"She left..." I managed to mumble.
"What? Why? What-"
"I don't know man, she just left. We got into an argument over something that was not my fault at all and she just left. I haven't seen her in a while either." At this point I was just lying. I didn't feel like explaining this absurd story. I felt as if no one would believe me.
"Well if you don't mind me asking, what are you still doing here?' Steve laughed nervously.
"Too drunk to drive myself home." I said exhaling smoke from my mouth.
"There's Nancy. She could give you a ride home if you wanted." Steve said standing up.
"Nancy." I repeated. "Why does that name sound so familiar."
"Mike's sister. Come on man, she is inside." Steve smiled nudging against my shoulder we walked back in. I was unaware of the time but it seemed the party was still going. In the corner of my eye I saw Chrissy and Jamie laughing it up n the corner.
"Hey" I whispered to Steve, causing him to stop and face me. 'Don't ever invite Chrissy to your parties again."
"Wait, why?" He laughed nervously.
"Because fuck her, and her friend Jamie." I snapped, I saw Nancy in the corner of the kitchen. I pushed passed a couple of people, making my way in the kitchen I shouted her name. A look of fear washed through her eyes while I stepped closer.
"Don't worry I'm not going to do anything, I was just wondering if I could get a ride home?" I asked.
"Um?" She said looking at Steve for reassurance.
"He's fine. He got a little to drunk and he just wants to go home." Steve said patting my shoulder.
"Yeah, Robin do you want to come with me?" She asked.
"Sure, wait how are we going to do this because you know I don't drive." Robin said anxiously.
"You know what, you can just go with me in my car and make sure I don't crash. 'Kay?" I said with a cheerful smile. "Nancy just follow us and then you and Robin can go back here."
"I-I don't know about that Eddie." Nancy stuttered.
"Trust me. I am actually getting sober the more this conversation goes on." I laughed pulling my keys out of my pocket.
"Either we go with my plan or I just drive myself home at this point." I shouted turning around, my arms flew in to the air while I waited for their response. Nancy and Robin looked at each other for a moment, quickly gathering up their things they followed me out of the house and to my car.
"Just go slow please." Nancy asked while she stood outside my car.
