"Hello?"
"Alex please let me explain."

"What do you want."
"Stop hanging up on me I want to talk to you."

"Eddie stop calling me."
"It's not Eddie doll."
"Billy?"
"Hmm. My name sounds good coming from your mouth."
"What do you want."
"You know what I want."

"Hello?"
"Are you ready to let me explain?"
"No Eddie."

*Two days later*

"Alex?" My dad asked knocking on my door, my eyes closed slowly at the sound of the door squeaking.
"What." I sighed.

"Eddie's outside. He wants to talk to you." He responded. My eyes shot open, like natural instinct my body shot out of my bed.

"What?" I asked.
"Yeah, I didn't want to let him in because I figured something happened between you two."
"What did he say?" My question interrupted his statement.

"He just asked if you were home, and he said he wanted to talk to you. He seems upset." My dad explained.

"I'll be down there in a second." My hand gestures my dad to leave my room, I walked over to my blinds, pushing them to the side I saw Eddie standing in our driveway. His anxious self paced back and forth waiting for me.

I slowly walked down my steps. I was unsure of what was going to happen. I wasn't sure if I was ready to see Eddie. But if he was this desperate enough to come by my house then maybe it was worth listening to.

I took a deep breath in, my hand stayed on the door handle. Slowly turning it I collected myself, placing my guard up I was prepared to see Eddie again.

"Yes?" I asked stepping out of my front door. Eddie has tried to trail up the steps. He took a step back at the sight of my open hand extending out.

"I want to talk to you." He mumbled.
"I'm not in the mood to talk right now." I answered.

"I can tell, you won't answer the phone." He scoffed trying to step forward.

"What do you want." I snapped crossing my arms across my body. He took in my body language and cleared his throat.

"I just want to talk to you-"
"You made that clear." My hand gestured out.

"I'm sorry Alex. I'm sorry that I lied to you. I'm sorry that I kept this from you. I was unsure of how to go about this situation, and of course I went through it the wrong way." He began his case, stepping closer to me. My hand brushed against his chest, we walked down the steps out of my house.

My head leaned over my shoulder, we stood away from my house so no lingering ears would be able to hear our conversation.

Usually apologizes like this would be meaning to me, but I felt as if this was repeated material. I was unsure if Eddie had meant it. Maybe this was me placing my guard up.
