Eddie and I were just starting out our day. The phone rang causing him to jerk his head. We both looked at each other with a look of uncertainty. I watched as his body stumbled against itself while he walked towards the phone. I stayed on the couch looking at him with worried eyes.

"Hello?" He asked answering the phone.

I sat on the couch and watched his eyes grow wide.
"What-"
"Ok. Ok." He repeated himself and looked at me.

"What's going on?" I asked trying to step closer. His large hand made its way in front of me.
"Ok. I'll be there soon." He said holding the phone.

He hung up the phone and stood there for a moment. I heard a soft muffled sob escape from his lips.
"What's wrong, what happened." I asked stepping closer to him.

"It's nothing-"
"Where do we have to go?" I asked.

"I have to. I'm dropping you off at home." He snapped at me.
"What?" I stood there confused as he pushed passed me, grabbing a hold of his keys he swung the front door open.

"Let's go." He demanded.
"What happened."

"It's nothing Alex." He snapped closing the car door.
"So why can't I go with you?"

"Because you just cant." He shouted at me, I sat there slowly buckling my seatbelt.

"I'm sorry-It has to do with Dustin. I'm just worried." His tone finally mellowed out.
"I'm sorry." I said softly laying my hand on his shoulder.

"I can go with you, just for support." I tried to offer a kind smile, he brushed my hand off of him and started the car.

"No."

"Ok." I mumbled. The rest of the car ride was awkward, I watched as Eddie's grip tightened against the steering wheel.

When he pulled into my driveway he essentially gestured me to get out of the car. Without hesitation the moment I stepped out of the car I heard the tires screech under the gravel road.

His car was gone faster than wave good bye. I stood in the middle of my driveway confused. I took a moment to collect myself while I got inside my house.

Chrissy forced me to go to the store with her, she claimed my parents wouldn't let her go to the store alone. I made her buy me a soda while we were there. We were leaving the store when I thought I saw someone who I wasn't expecting to see....

"Is that Steve?" I whispered looking over at Chrissy.
"Oh yeah-Hi Steve!" She shouted loudly.

My hand rested on my head for a moment out of embarrassment. I waved at Steve while he made his way over to us.
"Hey." He greeted.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked making conversation.

"Just grabbing some stuff, Robin and Dustin are gonna come over later for dinner." He smiled lifting his basket slightly in the air.
"Dustin?" I asked.
