"Renata."

"Renata?"

"Renata."

Somebody lifted me up and I was cold again. I felt my brain move everytime my holder took a step and it hurt.

My nose was blocked and I couldn't smell a thing and I struggled to open my eyes and eventually gave up.

I sensed a ton of people watching, but I wasn't sure. The silence was deafening.

My dress still clung to my cold body and my hair was stiff from the moisture I had experienced.

Suddenly, I heard a door open and warmth washed over me.

I was laid down on a softer bed than the stiff one I had and someone ripped my dress off softly, tugging at the edges.

My dress was off and most of the moisture went with it, but I was still slightly cold.

I had on my undergarments but nothing else, but I didn't notice or care.

There was another rustle of clothing and the bed I was in went down and there was a warm body next to me.

Broad arms wrapped around me and pulled me in, and the body I was against was very warm.

It was amazing.

I was warm, but I was sick. I didn't really care, I was half asleep.

I heard someone humming deeply and quietly and I shifted around until I was completely engulfed in the warmth.

I fell back asleep listening to the soothing tune.

_______

I kept drifting in and out of sleep. At one point, I was freezing, but at the end of the day I was pulled against a warm body.

It was nice.

Eventually, I started to breath through my nose normally again, and I breathed easier. I wasn't so cold anymore because of the fire I heard crackling in the room.

Soon, I opened my eyes.

It was a bit blurry at first, but I soon realized I was snuggled up against a broad...

Oh god.

It was Barvoscha.

Barvoscha had been the warm body that hugged me every night.

I felt so embarressed.

But, a ray of sun hit my face one morning and I decided to finally wake up and face the world.

I blinked, and looked over to see the Northern King sleeping soundlessly, his chest bare revealing an eight pack and rounded, beautiful muscles.

I felt my face turning red as he shifted around and then rubbed his face.

Soon, he opened his eyes aand caught me watching him.

"Renata?"

I looked into his deep black eyes as he brought a hand to my cheek.

"Are you awake this time?"

I nodded and sat up.

The blankets slipped away from my chest, revealing my undergarments.

"Where are my clothes?" I cried quietly as my face went boiling hot and I grabbed the blankets to cover my body.

Barvoscha watched me then sat up as well. His chest shone in the sunlight from the window.

"The dress that you came in was burned. It was wet and the material was coming apart. New clothing was ordered and placed in your closet."

He gestured towards a large wardrobe against one wall and I felt myself calm down slightly.
