I wake up in my bedroom in Rivendell or the Valley Of Imaldris. My uncle is standing right next to me. "Arneth! You are finally awake!" I stand up and hug him.
"How long was I out for?"
"A day," he replies grimly, "You had a poisoned arrow in your shoulder,"
I suddenly remember the dwarves, "Mithrandir and the dwarves? Where are they?"
"They are quite well, but you might want to see Aragorn," I gulp and nod. Aragorn comes in, jaw clenched and starts rambling about how I could've gotten hurt. I put an hand on his shoulder. "There are some things I can't tell you yet, but when you do find out, you'll know it was the only choice I had," I say softly and hug him tight. I had missed my brother very much. The rest of the evening, I spend time with my cousins.

Mithrandir, Thorin, Bilbo, Balin, and Uncle Elrond we're waiting for me in my uncle's chambers. I had a beautiful white dress on, with my diamond circlet. My blue-gray eyes glistened in the moonlight. The dwarves, wizard, and Uncle Elrond smiled at me fondly while Bilbo looked at me in awe.
Thorin stares at my uncle, nothing but pure resentment in his eyes. "Our business is no concern of elves,"
I sigh. "For goodness sake, Thorin, show him the map," Gandalf says, irritated.
"It is the legacy of my people; it is mine to protect, as are its secrets," Thorin continues.
"Save me from the stubbornness of dwarves. Your pride will be your downfall. You stand here in the presence of one of the few in Middle Earth who can read that map. Show it to Lord Elrond!" I exclaim as my eyes turn sharp and everyone turns suprised.
Everyone looks to Thorin, waiting. Reluctantly, he draws the map out of his coat. Thorin hands Elrond the map. Moon Runes! Only if I had seen the map before.
"What is your interest in this map?" Uncle asks.
Thorin opens his mouth to speak, but Gandalf answers first. "It's mainly academic. As you know, this sort of artifact sometimes contains hidden text. You still read ancient dwarvish, do you not?"
Elrond walks several paces off, into the moonlight. The map is bathed in pearly white light.
"Moon Runes," Elrond and I say at the same time, glancing at each other.
"Moon runes? Of course; an easy thing to miss," Gandalf says.
"Not really," I snigger as he glares at me and Elrond lightly smirks.
"Well, in this case, that is true; moon runes can only be read by the light of a moon the same shape and season as the day on which they were written," Uncle explains.
"Can you read them?" Thorin asks. Elrond and I nod. We walk out of the chambers, Gandalf and the others following behind.
The group enters an open area on the side of a cliff. Waterfalls rush on every side, roaring deafeningly. Elrond lies the map on a large crystalline table.
"These runes were written on a Midsummer's Eve by the light of a crescent moon nearly two hundred years ago. It would seem you were meant to come to Rivendell. Fate is with you, Thorin Oakenshield; the same moon shines upon us tonight," I say in a soft voice.
We look up. Clouds pass over the moon, shining down on the table. Light flows through the map. Glowing white runes fade into view.
"Stand by the gray stone when the thrush knocks, and the setting sun with the last light of Durin's Day will shine upon the keyhole,"Uncle Elrond finishes.
