Legolas, Tauriel and I ride back to Laketown to warn Mithrandir.
The wizard and Bilbo come into view. I jump off my horse. "Bilbo!" I rush to him and hug him. He smiles momentarily at me.
"Gandalf!" Legolas exclaims.
"Legolas. Legolas Greenleaf. Arneth!"
"There is a second army. Bolg leads a force of Gundabad Orcs," I tell him, panting.
"They are almost upon us," Legolas adds.
"This was their plan all along. Azog engages our forces, then Bolg sweeps in from the North," Mithrandir mutters.
"The North?" Bilbo asks. "Where is the North... exactly?"
"Ravenhill," I reply.
"Ravenhill? Thorin is up there. And Fili and Kili. They're all up there," Bilbo exclaims. Tauriel and I look at each other in panic.

After a few minutes, I find Tauriel with an arrow pointed at Thranduil. My eyes widen.
"You think your life is worth more... when there is no love in it? There is no love in you," Tauriel says.
"What do you know of love? Nothing!" Thranduil slashes his sword and breaks her bow. "What you feel for that Dwarf... is not real. You think it is love? Are you ready to die for it?" Thranduil moves his sword in order to harm Tauriel but I block his blow.
"We can only learn to love by loving. You call it madness, but I call it love,"
"I do not want to harm you, Arneth," He says, trying to get me to move. He points his sword to me, but is blocked once more.
"If you try to harm them, you will have to kill me!" Legolas says and Thranduil looks down. "I will go with you," He comes up to Tauriel and I. We both nod and head to Ravenhill.
As they walk a head, I look back at Thranduil. "Do not keep doing this. If you do, you will destroy yourself and the memory of Calathiel," And with that I take off.

Legolas and I jump grab onto two bats' legs as they fly up a tower. As we get closer, we turn upside down and use our daggers to kill hoards of orcs bellows us. We stick an arrow into their heads, as we get closer to a tower.
Legolas and I kill orcs side by side. Suddenly, we see Tauriel lying, and panting. Bolg comes down to us, from behind her. Legolas tries to get another bow, but he has ran out. He takes his sword instead and I take out Gladius. We jump down from the top of a hill, landing on a troll. Legolas stabs his sword in it's head as I do the same.
The troll bumps into the tall tower-like shape, and it falls, creating a bridge. Legolas and I run across the bridge and start fighting Bolg at the middle. We keep going back and forth, Legolas and I deflecting blows, that Bolg sent at us.
Bolg breaks part of the bridge that sends both of us, falling into the fallen tower's insides. As Bolg pushes me into a wall, Legolas aims at the orc from behind. Bolg runs after us, breaking more ground beneath him. Bolg finally makes us both fall on the ground, but we grab his legs and push him off the bridge.
We take a moment to gather ourselves and Legolas lends a hand for me to get up. I nod in thanks and we look up. Thorin was laying at the edge of a cliff, with no weapon and a huge orc cornering him. Legolas narrows his eyes, and sends his sword flying into the orc's chest.
Bolg returns behind us once again, and we spin just in time to deflect his sword. We both grab out twin daggers' and charge at Bolg. Legolas stabs Bolg's palm and the dagger goes through it.
Blog goes to stab Legolas but I shove him causing the elf and I to fall back. He helps me get up. Bolg shoves a huge rock at the ground, causing rocks beneath to fall. Us being elves, sprint easily across the rocks. Legolas jumps onto Bolg while I shoot him from a distance. As Bolg swings around, we both almost fall of edge, but gather ourselves.
Together, Legolas and I stab Bolg. Legolas jumps on his head, stabbing his dagger into it, killing him. Right before he does, so Bolg manages to stab me. Legolas and I jump off the bridge that falls down due to Bolg's weight. I grab my chest in order to stop bleeding. We both sig in relief. Legolas grabs my shoulders in order to support me.

As we head up, I see Bilbo crouching down near Thorin. My eyes widen in horror as I look around and see Kili and Fili the ground. Emotionless. Dead. I run up to Bilbo and the fallen dwarf, not minding the pain in my chest.
"Bilbo. Arneth," Thorin breathes out.
"Don't move. Don't move," Bilbo instructs. "Lie still,"
"I'm glad you are here,"
"Shh, shh," I quite him, trying to heal him.
"I wish to part from you in friendship,"
"No. You are not going anywhere. You're going to live!" I exclaim, tears flowing down my face.
"I would take back... my words and my deeds at the Gate. You did what only a true friend would do. Forgive me. I was too blind to see it. I am so sorry... that I have led you into such peril,"
"No, I'm glad to have shared in your perils, Thorin. Each and every one of them. It is far more than any Baggins deserves," Bilbo says.
"Farewell... Master Burglar and Arneth. Go back to your books. And your armchair. Plant your trees. Watch them grow. If more people... valued home above gold this world would be a merrier place. I wish all the luck to you, Arneth. You were like a daughter to me,"
"No. No, no, no. No. Thorin. Thorin, don't you dare!" I cry.
"Thorin. Thorin. Thorin, hold on. Hold on, please. The Eagles... The Eagles... The Eagles are here. Thorin? The Ea..." Bilbo begs. It is too late. Thorin Oakenshield, The King Under The Mountain and his nephews are dead.
I choke in a sob and hug Bilbo tightly. War has taken my loved ones once again. I won't let Sauron win. Not again.
