The way home was really long. Ten miles isn't something I walk every day when it's pounding.

I can't believe what he did. I feel disgusted just when I remember his touch. He did it just to fuck me, nothing more.

He doesn't care about you. My inner voice said making me cry more.

I hugged myself from the cold and rubbed my hands. I flinched when I heard thunder not really far away. Well great...

From the start I knew he did it just to have a girl to kiss, he even said that to me but after some time I thought he changed his mind

"Lily?" The familiar voice said from behind me. I look over my shoulder and saw Rick's car driving next to me while I was walking

I stopped and wipe the tears before waving with a fake smile

He got out of the car with the engine still running. I was soon surrounded by warm hands. He probably saw my puffy eyes

I didn't expect him to hug me but it was definitely what I needed at the moment. I hugged him tighter while sobbing into his shoulder

"Come on let's get into the car shall we?" He rubbed my hands and let me into the passenger seat of his car.

I put my knees to my chest and shivered from the sudden heat. Rick took something from the back seat before handing it to me

"Take off your wet shirt and put it on, don't worry I won't look" I looked down at the sweatshirt in my hands and then at Rick who was looking at something over the hood with an umbrella I didn't see earlier

I quickly took it off and put on the sweatshirt before telling him he can look.

He closed the door and walked to the driver's seat.

"Thank you" I didn't want to let tears out of my eyes but it happened anyway.

"Anytime" he smiled at me. I didn't have to tell him anything about what happened, he probably knew something is wrong and he didn't want to make me more upset

We got home after ten minutes of silence and me trying to quiet down my sobs.

"We're here," he said softly and opened my car door before I could. We walked together into my house. I realized Rick is about to watch a soccer game with his friends because he walked into the living room with me

I didn't want to see my brother but I didn't have a choice. Mike noticed me walking with Rick. He first looked angry before he saw my red eyes

I watched him jump on his feet and give me a hug while other guys from his group watched us. I sobbed into his chest while he stroked my back

"What happened?" He asked in a whisper looking at Rick who shrugged and put a hand on my shoulder

"I found her walking in the rain so I gave her a ride but she didn't say anything"

Mike pulled away and looked into my eyes "did Tom do that to you?"

I was about to shake my head when the main door opened. You don't need superpowers to know who it was

My brother let go of me taking no time to get right in front of Tom. I covered my mouth when he slammed him against the wall holding him by his neck

"What did you do?" Mike growled into Tom's face. I pursed my lips when I started to tear up again

Tom didn't do anything to stop my brother but I saw his face getting red from the loss of oxygen

"Mike let him go" I walked towards him and tried to push him away
