"Lily," a soft voice said making me smile. It's been a long time since I dreamed about him

"Hmm" I place my hand on his chest stroking him

"Are you awake?" His voice chuckled

"No" I kissed his chest "but I have a really pretty dream," I said dreamily

"This isn't a dream sleepyhead, wake up" Tom placed his hands on my face making me open my eyes

I blinked a few times before widening my eyes.

"I- I'm sorry" I stuttered and sat up to look around "what are you, wha- , when. What time is it?" I looked at my alarm clock

"It's just six. I just wanted to ask if you wanna skip school with me today" Tom whispered and started to draw circles on my bare thigh

"I've never skipped school before" I looked down at him and his hand

"You play like you're sick before your dad leaves. Make him let you stay, I'll wait here"

"And what about your parents?" I asked

"They are not home and my sister rides to school with Troy now" he squeezed my thigh as soon as he mentioned Troy

"Oh. Alright, you stay here I'm gonna go convince dad" I took a deep breath before standing up

"Don't forget to look sick" he reminded me before I left the door after putting on some shorts

My dad was in the kitchen when I walked in, trying to look as sick as I can.

"Hey dad" I mumbled with sleepy eyes

"Hey sweetie, what's up? You don't look very good" dad asked worried and touched my forehead. I rub in when I walked down the stairs to make it feel hotter

"I didn't sleep almost the whole night. I don't feel so good" I stumbled towards the sink and made myself a glass of water

"Are you sure you wanna go to school like this?" Dad gave me the pitied look

"I don't know, I'd probably fall asleep riding there" I 'sadly' chuckled

"Still have humor I see" he smiled softly "stay home today and we'll see how you feel tomorrow" he kissed my forehead before saying goodbye and walking out of the door

I did my happy dance as soon as the door closed

After gulping the water, I skipped up the stairs to my room and jumped on my bed right after

Tom let out a breath when I ended up on his stomach

"I'm such a good actress" I grinned and lay on him. He just laughed and hugged me around my stomach

"I gotta tell Mike he doesn't have to give me a ride. Stay here" I stood up and jumped towards the door making Tom chuckle before I knocked on my brother's door

"Come in" I heard before I opened the door

"Hey bro, I'm staying home today not feeling good. So you don't have to give me a ride" I played and coughed

"Alright, just sleep it out, I'll check on ya later" Mike ruffled my hair before going into his bathroom

When I walked into my room the second time, I couldn't find Tom anywhere. I closed the door and looked around the room
