Chapter 4 Kai

Kai's POV

as we entered the main hall Eve s' dad was sitting on the couch. Eve s' mom and Lily were standing next to him. I looked at Lily's face. With her expression, I m sure that she already knew about the issue.

" Uncle im sorry Eve was with me. we were at the gate. You don't have to worry, please calm down." I said looking his way.

"I know son. There is no problem with that. We were just worried about Eve that's all." Uncle Anderson said calmly.

Though he said it like that, I knew there was something off. And it's so scary to see him behave like this in this situation. I rather he yelled and punched me in the face than stay so calm.

"I am so done with you papa, " Eve threw flower vases on the floor that were on the table as she grabbed lily s' hand and ran upstairs.

"Uncle let me talk to them," I said and turned to follow them up.

"Kai," I automatically stopped at his deep and cold voice and turned to him straight.

"you must remember that this marriage has to be get done at any cost. This is not something we just decided. It took place ever since your father and I became good friends. And you knew, it was your duty to get Eve on the point to agree to get married to you. I worried that you at least even tried to do that. Or do you also want something else to take place?" He said in a cold voice and slowly looked at me.

I looked at him for a moment and followed Eve upstairs. As I entered the room Eve and Lily were standing facing back to each other, Honestly, it gave me chills. At one point I asked myself what is so tricky about this situation. Everybody is putting so much drama into this marriage. We can talk it out isn't it so simple, What is wrong with these people?

"Ladies, what is wrong with you huh? Down your papa is like to kill us all at the scene and now you are likely to kill each other." As I said Lily looked at me and talked.

" you knew this is gonna happen right? That's why you were with us all our lives. From the beginning, this all was planned on point, it's your damn duty to marry Eve" Lily said in an annoying tone.

"If you want an honest answer, yeah, I knew this is going to happen. I have no objection to it either. But I never thought it would be this early. If I knew this gonna happen, I would do something, Lily. I don't want this I don't want to be a betrayal. I didn't even have a chance to talk to you about this " Eve turned to Lily's side with a startling expression on her face to my reply.

"So knew you both have had a conversation about this right? You knew she liked you and Lily, you even talked about him behind my back, so I'm the one who knew nothing about this shit, so did you enjoy me fooling around your acts, from the beginning? Do you know how much I worried about you when I heard about this marriage? Because I didn't want to hurt your feelings but look at you now I feel like I'm the biggest idiot in this fucking world" with her words I could clearly understand the disappointment and sorrow in her feelings.

"Eve let me be by myself for a while. I don't want to see you. Neither of you." Lily said and Eve looked at her with an unpleasant expression, which shows that I'm the one who said that. She was disgusted by what she got to know at the moment.

"Eve give her some time" I walked outside of the room as I hold Eves's hand.

" I don't know what to do Kai at this point I wanna kill you for real." She was with rage but she looked so discouraged and confused.

"Everybody needs some time to sort things out when something like this happens, so what we have to do is give them some time," I said while sitting next to her on the floor. She followed me and sat beside me.
