I quietly looked down, from where I was perched on the trees and shily peeked on the group of trainers traveling below us. I had wanted to greet them as soon as I saw them... but that's Ash Ketchum! The Saint! He is both a Generalist Master and a Terrain Master! The one Master Drayden taught us about in the Opelucid Academy! He has a Charizard that could take on a Latias! He also possesses an Altaria and Flygon! He is so cool! Not only that but I just saw that he has new Dragon-type pokemon! A Gible and a Dratini! So cool! He will now have two Pseudo-legendary pokemon in his team! He can defeat Legendary pokemon without them, what will he be able to do with them in his team?!

Well, he will have three Pseudo-legendary pokemon, I thought with a frown. But Tyranitar is not a Dragon-type, so he is not as cool as a Dragonite and Garchomp.

"Dratini use Twister!" I heard The Saint command, making me look down with great attention. I was able to catch how Dratini neutralized a Pidove's Gust with a powerful Dragon-type move, which sent the bird crashing against a tree. But Pidove was not backing down, she rapidly marched on the ground towards Dratini, trying to hit him with a Quick Attack. I was surprised by that, as normally wild Flying-type pokemon tend to rely a lot on their wings and fying ability to fight and survive. I noticed that Ash was also impressed by this, from his pleased smirk and widened eyes. "Wrap!" Ash ordered, and Dratini moved quickly, slithering on the ground, evading the Quick Attack and wrapping himself around Pidove and immobilizing her. "Finish this with Shock Wave!" The electirc attack was the end of the wild pokemon. "Poke Ball go!" I watched as Ash threw his Poke Ball, it locked on immediately as Pidove had fainted. "All right!" Ash cheered, walking towards Dratini and kneeling on the ground. "Well done buddy!" Ash congratulated his pokemon and picked up his Poke Ball. "We already have our standar regional Flying-type pokemon," Ash comment made the rest of his group laugh, as he stood up with Dratini now wrapped around his neck as a scarf. He took out a grey Pokedex with a red Poke Ball at the bottom of the object, and proceeded to read the status of his new pokemon.

Pokemon: Pidove.

Gender: Female.

Ability: Super Luck.

Type: Normal/Flying.

Move set: Gust, Quick Attack, Air Cutter, Tailwind.

Egg moves: Defog.

NOTE: The egg move has yet to have been unlocked.

"Super Luck? Now who is lucky when it comes to pokemon abilities?" The little boy in the group teased Ash good naturally, making Ash chuckle.

"Not a bad base for a wild pokemon and Defog will be useful in battles and outside of them," the guy with the Lucario beside him commented.

"I'm already brimming with so many ideas of what to do next!" Ash exclaimed in excitement. He called out his new pokemon and gave her an Hyper Potion, she was as good as new. "Hi! Welcome to the family Pidove! I am Ash, these are my partners Pikachu, Riolu, and Dratini. We have many more traveling with us and back home. I can't wait for you to meet them all!"

"Pidove!" The brid called out happily, lightly pecking Ash on the cheek, before flying up into the sky.

For the rest of the day she flew above them, enjoying the breeze of the wind and the freedom that came with flying. A freedom I quite understood when it comes to swinging from tree to tree. However, I could not do that now. Not when I had to keep my precense a secret. I needed to find courage to present myself and ask him to mentor me. I had to make a good impression! Just look at that little boy! He could not be older than 10 and already has a full team from all the Poke Balls I caught on his belt. Not to mention, that his Ralts follows every order he gives him. My Excadrill stopped listening to me as soon as he had evolved! And as much as I love Axew, he is but a baby!
